Great location and quiet neighborhood
I booked a last minute 2 day trip for myself and my daughter. We wanted longer, but the property was already booked. So, we took what we could get. Once we checked in, I could see why it was popular. The pictures do it justice. The house sits on the riverside of the intracoastal. Nice sunset! It was about 8 blocks to the pier and boardwalk (the main attractions of Daytona outside of the racetrack). Maybe we had an 8 minute walk? I was a little worried about sleeping and safety because of the bars in the area. Thursday night, not a sound. Come Friday night, still quiet!! OK, maybe it would be different during BikeWeek. But for a summertime vacation, it was perfect. I only regret is that we didn't bring more friends and family. We definitely had the space. Chris was quick to respond if I had a question and to check in to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. We look forward to coming back and hope we can enjoy a longer stay in the house.

Neighborhood/area of the house with very scary
Please don’t look at the pictures on the website and think that’s what you’re getting. The area was very scary; abandon lots, home falling down, and bars on the windows. When I pulled into the driveway I immediately let the booking agent know I would not be staying. After spending a lot of time on the phone with VRBO and the booking agent, I did receive one night back and my cleaning fee. I’m still out $700. I consider this to be a very bad experience with VRBO.

Me and my four daughters really enjoyed staying here. It’s very spacious and cozy! The beds have top quality mattresses and sheets. Everything you need is here!! We will definitely refer this property to friends and family

Nice cozy place near the beach
The bikes were a great addition to the rental. The location was also very convenient since we were about 3 min from beach and had a gas station across the road. The patio area does need some cleaning, we had to clean up ourselves to be able to enjoy the outdoors. The outside shower was also great after being at the beach. The host responded quick to any questions. Overall good rental.

Daytona 2022
The home we stayed at was very accommodating, clean and had a great location less than 5 minutes from the beach. 8 of us stayed in the house and had plenty of room and it felt like a home away from home with the eclectic bike to ride, a wagon for the beach and bogey boards to ride the waves. Will definitely do it again. We made a lot of great memories. Thank you for our stay in Daytona!

Only have one complaint.
My only complaint is that it was difficult for Uber to find us. Everything else was good. Most of our time was spent outside of the house so I don't have a lot to comment on. It was nice to have laundry on site and the A/C works wonderful!

Hotmess but good location!
The check in process was a bit difficult, as we were sent the wrong code and the key pad lock was dying. The owner did have to come two days later to replace the batteries. The shower broke when we arrived after an 18 hour drive from Texas. Owner told us to watch a video on how to fix it, or we could shower outside with the cold water outdoor shower located at the front of the house.. thankfully my husband was able to fix it. The AC also didn’t reach the kitchen and back bathroom, which was a bit frustrating at times. Toilet was also faulty and did not flush unless the top was removed and done manually. Outlet in the bathroom was hanging from the wall. Thankfully we only used the house to shower and sleep, and we’re in a prime location for Jeep Beach. Very close to the main after parties and speedway. Short drive to the beach as well. If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay, I wouldn’t recommend this location. It shares a wall with a tire shop and is right across the street from a pretty loud bar, which wasn’t mentioned in the listing. Overall, I give it 3 stars bc of location and access to the garage. The garage held our doors for our Jeeps easily. But the house could use some maintenance and upkeep.

The house was amazing! Great location for bike week! Very clean property! Had 7 adults and it worked perfectly for us! Fit 4 baggers in the garage and out of the ocean air! Only downside is that it is so close to Main Street that you hear motorcycles ALL night!

Family Beach Retreat
We had an amazing time. Chris the owner is very professional. When we checked in I notice there was no laundry soap so I messaged Chris and within 10 minutes he had some dropped off. On Saturday it was raining he was so kind that he messaged me and gave us many options for restaurants and for door dash as well as grocery deliveries. We will definitely be coming back.

The beach house provided us with a perfect location. We were close to many restaurants, grocery stores, and the strip. The house was nicely decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were extremely comfortable. Chris was easy to work with while we were in the planning stage. We would love to stay here again in the future.

This place was perfect and the owner Chris knows how to make you feel at home. We did not need for anything however, Chris always checked to make sure everything was still ok. What a great week. While the house is not right on the beach, it’s location was just a short walk to the pier and beach. The home was clean and well stocked. We cooked every morning and found plenty of pans and utensils. There was even the basic oils and seasonings which made cooking very easy. There was plenty of towels and beach supplies (chairs, umbrellas, boards) to make our beach stay very enjoyable. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house, but it’s location made easy travel to other local beaches, Kennedy Space Center, and Universal Studios a quick hour ride by car. Chris checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel very welcomed. Great stay and a great vacation!

Loved the house! It was not big, but it was comfortable. The house is not far from the beach at all. Yes you are next door to a tire shop but that did not bother us at all.

Jeep Beach
The Beach Bungalow was a great place to stay for the Jeep Beach event. The house was very nice and the owner very easy to get in touch with. Other people have posted that the tire shop next door was an issue but we never even noticed or heard anything that would keep us from coming back. Great stay Chris, thanks again.

The home was clean and nicely furnished. The pictures are accurate. Chris was very responsive and communicated well with us from booking and throughout our stay. Good tv's and internet access. We had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, but we could have used a cooler and a wagon to drag stuff to the beach. It is situated on a busy street, but the location makes it quick and easy to walk to many great places, including the beach. The neighborhood was a little sketchy...but after driving around Daytona, it was right in line with the entire area. We were a bit surprised by the noise. There is a tire place attached next door so you will hear noise during business hours and the bar across the street is a biker bar. It’s not quiet, but we mostly experienced that on the first night when there was a loud band and motorcycles zooming up and down the street. All in all, worth the money for sure.

The property manger is not very helpfully, pictures were deceiving, mold on outside furniture, grill broken, tire shop next to house with tires stacked up to back yard fence, empty booze bottles in between fence on tire station, reported to HomeAway and Chris, nothing done. Left same day no reimbursement !! Awful!!!

Hi George, I am unsure as to what you are referring to in your review? Our home is exactly as described on our listing and we have never had anyone say it is not like the pictures. I’m not sure where the miscommunication happened? Your review is misleading as I replaced all of the outdoor furniture with brand new high end outdoor furniture the same day (it is Florida, so the weather is tough on outdoor furniture & we replace it each year at the end of February), brand new outdoor grill and never saw the liquor bottles you are claiming during our pre-check in inspection we do to guarantee quality prior to each guest arriving. We directly addressed your issues and thought things were worked out... The home is right next to Main Street which has businesses & restaurants on it, which is why the home’s proximity to these establishments makes it such a great location, close to everything. We take a lot of pride in giving all guests a beautiful place to stay that we are proud of and really want to make things right for you. I have tried contacting you multiple times, but never got a response. Thank you, Chris

Lovely home! Close to the beach!
This home is beautiful and the owners are amazing! We had internet issues when we first got to the house and Chris was there within 10 minutes to fix it. The home is a short walk to the beach and the boardwalk which was very nice. We felt safe in the neighborhood and walked almost everywhere that we went. My kids had enough room to spread out and loved the room with the bunkbeds! We would definitely rent from them again if we come to Daytona Beach! There was a book with recommendations about things to do and restaurants to go to. Our last night there we ate at boondocks which is about a 15 minute drive. The best seafood that we had the whole trip! It’s a must try! Best vacation we have had yet!

Pros : Very clean - no bugs. Great beds/furniture Close to the beach - not on the beach but about 8 blocks away. Quaint and cozy. Huge TVs Cons- The neighborhood was a little sketchy... I would not walk around. There is a tire place attached next door so you will hear noise during business hours. One of the three bedrooms has a closet so space for storage is limited. Bar across the street is a biker bar. It’s not quiet. Overall the property was very nice inside. We would stay again !
