What a treat. This retreat has everything you need for a truly restful and relaxing stay. The enormous jetted tub, gas fireplace and cosy yet clean and minimalist furnishings made for a heavenly few days.
I loved the tranquility of the area. The room was very space ,luxurious and extremely well appointed. I would definitely recommend it for a couple and I would come back.

Great location, good sized room with a kitchenette which is convenient. It wasn’t what we were expecting; I wouldn’t describe it as luxury. The place could use a few updates: there were stains on the couch, the fireplace didn’t work, the audio system wasn’t usable without a cable which wasn’t present. There were no amenities for the spa which was a shame as it’s a good way to entice people to buy more products - it could be for purchase, give people the option! The bath was difficult to get in and out of and needed a step in as the sides were so high. The blackout curtains aren’t full blackout and a lot of light streams through from the night lights outside and in the morning. If you stay in one of the ground floor villas, be aware that you can hear those at the top walking up and down. I wouldn’t stay here again at that cost, it just wasn’t value for money. Much like staying in an Airbnb but no extra little touches that make a stay memorable.
What a lovely place to stay so peaceful and quiet very close to the bathing house and a easy drive to Daylesford, plenty of places to eat and some nice walks too.
The retreat was perfect. It had everything we needed for a lovely get away, even a welcome basket which was greatly appreciated and walking distance to the mineral springs.
Would highly recommend !!!!

Great position opposite the baths. Perfect for a romantic getaway - spa, wood /gas fire place. Cheers.
The price for the room should include access to pool shouldn't have to pay $58 each for an hour and half visit. Not many staff. Very loud neighbours thumping above us all night.
The villa was lovely, and located very close to all of the sights that my partner and I were there to enjoy. The only downside was that despite the welcome book stating there was access to Foxtel, there didn't appear to be a remote available for this purpose. There also was no aerial connected to the TV in the bed area. We had a somewhat uncomfortable experience with the amount of flies that gained access to the villa, however were very grateful for the can of Raid included with the room. Overall we had a lovely weekend and would be happy to stay here again.
There was reception in the resort, you had to go to the Spa Mineral side, and then no information about how to contact anyone for after hours assistance. Housekeeping items were low. No steak knives, no tissues, lights above beds hanging a bit loosely. Needs some maintenance. Not walkable to anywhere except the mineral spa pool.
From the exterior, the villa looks good and even upon entering seeing the private jacuzzi feels good but once we start staying there, we find the place very poorly maintained. The light at our living was not working, the workman came with his boots on and step all over the carpet and floor. The jacuzzi in our room has a hole on the side cover by a foam board! This is supposedly a 5 star hotel, it is quite unacceptable! There is no staff to ask if our stay was good or not, the whole place is just managed by a staff who is the spa. It is very disappointing.
Unfortunately this venue did not deliver.
Cleanliness… pubic hairs in toilet area, kitchen tampon packet on floor, couch cover dirty from other people’s oils, bath not sanitised, personal products in bath (left over jars of facial mask and body scrub from previous users). Fireplace didn’t work, broken curtains and venetians. No real compendium, connections for AV didn’t work properly, overhead light fittings dirty. Support information focuses on what you can’t do! Not enough support by staff, you can’t get anyone after hours nor do they call you back, labyrinth of phone diversions not necessarily addressing your enquiry. Not customer focused especially for what you pay, I’m still waiting for information about my spa booking….which didn’t happen. No extra pillows, blankets, throw in disrepair. People parking in the wrong spots because of conflicting and poor signage. Welcome box not so enviromentaly conscious, dairy yoghurt event though we were encouraged to select an alternative milk supply. We are regular travelers, this venue over promised and under delivered. Truly disappointed! The saving grace was we were in unit 1 and didn’t have to hike up 3 flights of stairs, so earlier on during booking the access request was considered. We overlooked other venues thinking we were going to have an exceptional stay for both our anniversary and my husband’s birthday. Going to Bellinzona next weekend!
We were told 3 pm check in. At 3 30 pm upon being given a key we entered a messy yet to be cleaned facility No time could be ogives as to when it would be available. We cancelled our booking
My partner and I enjoyed a lovely stay. Really quiet, romantic and private. We loved the massive hot-tub!!! Would absolutely stay here again.

Just a few problems with broken blinds and lack of tile strips and finishes. Broken blinds over bathing and showering area therefore should have been fixed before occupancy. As the broken pieces were on floor the staff would have been fully cognisant of these problems.
Beautiful views, luxurious spa bath, lovely atmosphere. Really comfy bed. Just took a little while to warm up when we first arrived.

Modern apartment that could have been far more worthy of its nightly rate if the rooms were serviced each day, the spa plug didn't leak causing water to spray across the room and heater in the spa worked. Quite a bit of mould in the shower that could be tended to. Foxtel did not work and when we arrived the room was like an ice box and we didn't want to get undressed to have a shower.
