Car parking is in the town on a public street which entails carrying luggage a long way to the hotel rail shuttle and then again onto the hotel reception. The rooms are terrible. Very dated. "Very charming… love the location… it was rustic which I felt was the very vibe we wanted in a mountain stay… I highly recommend and will definitely be back. Shoutout to the front desk lady -sorry I forgot her name - she is originally from the Philippines- excellent customer service, very respectful, polite and hospitable and friendly…even gave us tips on how to Maximize our stay in Montreux.-from restaurant suggestions, activities (Diavolezza), timing for Bernina line stops to take… Lovely lovely quiet peaceful ambience with a view of the lake toward the back of the hotel"

"Overall, this is a lovely property and the staff was very friendly and attentive. However, I was disappointed that all of the tables at the windows were reserved for breakfast. It is an included buffet and yet it was not possible to sit at the windows. I sat down, ate a leisurely breakfast and not one of the reserved tables were used. If you are going to allow reservations, you should require a time of arrival. I also had issues with my shower and it flooded the bathroom and flowed into the room. I don’t take long showers and turn the water off while soaping up and it still flooded. The room was adequate but very small so the flooding really made an impact. The hotel has beautiful views of the lake and is easy to access the town are. Overall, a decent property. I assume the cost was all about the location. Not sure I would book again."
