« Laurie is a lovely, gracious host. It comes across in her messages but even more so in all the little things she provides at the house: the homemade banana bread, the coffee and tea bar, the beach towels, the sunscreen, the nice shampoo, the kayaks and swim toys, etc. Honestly this home is just so well stocked and thoughtful. And the view! Beautiful. We had gorgeous weather and hung out on the dock fishing all afternoon. We’ve stayed here twice and will plan to stay again before our camping...

« This is a beautiful home! It was so nice to sit on the dock and enjoy the view. We loved watching the car ferry go by and it wasn't loud or disruptive at all. It was very, very, clean and I loved the little sitting area to drink coffee in the morning and look at the ocean. We made day trips to Shackleford Banks to see wild horses and did a Crystal Coast Ecotour with Captain Tony in Moorehead City. Both were highlights of our trip. « Nous avons passé une nuit en juillet 2025 au Bask Hotel à Morehead City en famille (2 adultes et 2 ados), et nous avons été très satisfaits de notre séjour ! Notre chambre double avec deux lits queen était immense, très propre et parfaitement équipée, avec TV, Wi-Fi, machine à café, frigo et un coin cuisine bien pratique. Idéale pour une famille ! « This was our first time staying in a unique place like this. It was great and comfortable. The only thing to remember is if you are not arriving by 7, make other arrangements for key pick up - I missed that and fortunately we arrive right at 7. I was thrilled there was an elevator as well. Very clean and felt like home. »

« For a sub $100/night place to stay at the beach it wasn't too bad. Very clean, smelled nice, recently updated, great water pressure, 10 minute walk from the beach. The only issue I had was the small window ac unit couldn't keep the room below 75 and the temps weren't over 85 during my stay. Other than that, I had an enjoyable stay. Hopefully the room will have an AC sized like the other rooms because I do plan to come back »
