HOUSE FEATURES: Four bedroom luxury beach front home on large gulf front lot. Nothing but sand between this home and the ocean! Perfect vacation rental for families and couples with 3 King Bedrooms, all with incredible ocean views and their own bathrooms and a bunk room with it's own bathroom. Open spacious living area. The outdoor space includes plenty of deck that is both covered and uncovered so you may sunbathe or relax in the shade. This is a 4 bedroom, 4 bath house on Dauphin Island which sleeps 12\. Enjoy the quiet southern lifestyle of one of the last Gulf islands to remain unaffected by commercial tourism. \*\*\*GREAT BEACH FOR KIDS\*\*\* FURTHER DETAILS: Plenty of comfortable furnishings with a large table as well as a large kitchen bar. Fully furnished with bedroom TV's and a large TV in the living area. Broadband wi-fi is available free of charge (although service on the Island can be spotty at times). Unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico. There is NOTHING but white sand between the steps from the porch to he Gulf of Mexico. No houses, no on the Gulf. This means no putting on shoes or loading the car to head to the beach... it's all right there!!! Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, blender, coffee maker, etc... and has a four burner stove with electric oven. Dishwasher and refrigerator/freezer with icemaker are also featured. Spacious Master Bedroom on the main level with master bathroom with soaking tub and stand up shower. Second bedroom is a bunk room also on the main level with 2 double on bottom/single on top bunk beds. The 3rd and 4th bedroom are located on the second floor as well as an additional loft space. Both bedrooms feature private bathrooms, king size beds and access to a second level deck with breathtaking birds eye views of the ocean. ISLAND INFORMATION: Dauphin Island s a very laid back & non-commercialized, but has shops, a grocery store, bakery & several restaurants ranging from pizza, ice cream and burgers, to great seafood and steaks. Island is accessible by bridge. Gulf Shores & Fort Morgan are only a few miles away & are accessible by auto ferry (makes a great day trip). For attractions, visit the Sea Lab, historic Fort Gaines, view birds and wildlife & explore secluded beaches at the Audubon Sanctuary, fish on the beach, charter a boat for sightseeing or deep-sea fishing, swim, bike, walk, collect shells, or JUST RELAX! ADVANCE RENT: ONE-HALF of rental rate is due at booking. ONE-HALF of rental rate is required 45 days prior to check in. There is a 60 day cancellation policy on all rentals. We accept: personal checks and credit cards (viaVRBO and PayPal). ALL RESERVATIONS WILL BE CHARGED A CLEANING FEE ($150) DEPOSITS A $500 DAMAGE/SECURITY DEPOSIT is required for all rentals and is due with the second half of your rent 45 days prior to arrival. It is fully refundable if conditions are met. Deposits are returned to you trhough your method of original payment approximately 7 days after check out. GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR DAMAGE DEPOSIT REFUND Including but not limited to the following: \*No Damage to House \*No missing or broken items. \*No more than the maximum number of occupants in the property. \*Property is left reasonable clean, no dirty dishes, all trash taken to outside containers, in general just general tidying of the property. We reserve the right to deduct excess cleaning and damage charges from the deposit. PETS: THERE IS A PET FEE OF $100. \*Dogs must be under a pest management system for fleas and ticks. \*Do not allow your dog onto the furniture. \*Please ensure your dog does not chew on the furniture or other items. \*Please, please, please bring a pooper scooper. Pick up after your dog. Children like to walk and play in the sand. \*Dauphin Island has a leash law. Dogs must either be on a leash or be under voice command at all times. CANCELLATIONS: DEPOSIT & ADVNACE RENT are refundable, if reservation is canceled 60 days prior to arrival. We will also refund if we can re-book the property. The proximity to the beach was amazing, we slept to the sound of rolling waves. The only thing that could be improved upon was the cleanliness. Sheets and towels were clean and fresh, but the floors were not pristine. Some of the tubs did not drain well, and the freezer door was about to break. These items were definitely not a deal breaker. For a large extended family this property is perfect. The owner caters to children, and provided toys, books and games to make their stay enjoyable. The ocean front views are beautiful and parking is plentiful for 4 cars. This is a real plus! Cleanliness was only 4 stars because we arrived an hour and a half after check in and the cleaning staff was still on site. (Thank you!)The house has almost everything you need to have a relaxing and comfortable stay. The water is steps away and there are plenty of chairs and toys on site. The beds were all very comfortable. There was a lot of sand left in the floors and master shower and the kitchen definitely could use a deep clean. Overall we really enjoyed the house. My only actual complaint would be the outdoor furniture. It was metal and it was all rusted really badly. My daughter was actually cut by a rusty piece. This house is a great set up for our family. We love that it is directly on the beach and the balcony and decks are a favorite. This wasn’t our first stay in this house, nor will it be our last! We’re two family sharing a house for spring break with kids ranging from preschool to high school. There were plenty of linens and kitchen supplies. The house is beautiful and in a great location. No huge crowds. We could watch dolphins, birds and other wildlife from our balconies or from our beach. This house is clean, comfortable and a great place to unwind and enjoy sunrises, sunsets, the ocean/ gulf and time with my girls.
