  • Spectacular ocean and city light views, is walking distance to the beach and downtown. Four large bedrooms, two bathroom with views from the family room, kitchen, master bedroom and bedroom/den. Professionally decorated with high-quality luxurious materials throughout. Great for family vacations, those attending nearby conferences, or for groups looking to enjoy some time relaxing at the beach. Permit # str-16-0542.
    Absolutely no parties, no smoking or illegal drug use will be permitted. No more than 10 people may be on premise at any time. No music to be played outside past 10pm. Failure to abide by the rules will result in a $500 charge and immediate eviction.

Great place to stay in Dana Point. Nice quiet neighborhood. Also great location near shops, restaurants, beach, and Harbor. Would stay there again.

Great location! Nice patio with ocean view. Communication with the host was easy. Place is nice although not “luxury”. They do not advertise A/C so it shouldn’t be a surprise but the heat during the day made the unit uncomfortable. At night with all the windows open it was manageable.

Check in was easy and smooth and the hosts were great comminicators. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen were nice and well equipped. Great location for the areas as well. It was a warm week and so it took a lot of managing fans and windows being opened and closed in a timely way to keep the house cool enough to be comfortable. That would be the only thing I would caution about.

Terrific stay. In town for my son’s wedding. The location was close to downtown SJC. Beautiful destination for events or relaxation! Uber was $15-25 depending on time and day but never more than a 10-minute drive and no highway traffic. You can see the ocean from living room, balcony, master bedroom, and kitchen. Quiet neighborhood! Other than wedding events…Excellent 7 minute walk to an amazing Mexican tavern down the street. On Saturday we walked to a Farmers Market. On another day we walked to the beach. Gerry to Catalina Island was close! SJC itself was a town made for walking the quaint streets and River Ranch Street which had tasty restaurants, classy bars, and trendy stores. Across from there, there is petting farm and kid’s park. Bedrooms were comfy and the four twin beds located in two of the rooms made for a better guest allocation. Most VRBOs have rooms with just king and queen beds. I think families with kids will find this feature, as well as the large living room, perfect for a stay. Spacious garage!! If going to the mission, go before 5! Don’t let that tasty 5 Star BBQ across the street keep you! Hosts responded in a timely manner. Communication was friendly and welcoming. They made clean up a breezy task. Take trash out and run the dish water. I didn’t have to worry about stripping beds or doing the laundry. Greatly appreciated! I truly enjoyed the experience and would book again without hesitation! Thank you Shilpa and Jason!!!

Excellent choice for beach living!

We were very pleased with this property, great location to beaches and Dana Point shops and restaurants! The accommodations worked out wonderfully for the 6 of us (4 adults and 2 children). Beautiful ocean view!We highly recommend this property!

Perfect spot for our family to be within walking distance to lots of shopping/food, but in a quiet area for relaxing in the evenings. Jason doesn't mention the VIEWS enough in his description! Beautiful.

Worked out perfect for our surfing family. Plenty of space for six adult size persons and more than adequately furnished and supplied with home use items. Parking in the garage and 1 lane of the driveway allowed two full size Ford F150 trucks and a bunch of surf gear to be parked and stored. Owners were super responsive and helpful with questions. Great stay. Recommended!

We enjoyed the condo. Nice location in the Lantern District. Walk to harbor and shops. A little problem connecting to internet but property manager assisted. Written instructions at the property for internet would be helpful.

Wedding weekend

We enjoyed this unit for five nights. The size was great for six adults. The location was very convenient for Uber’s and for walking. The unit was clean the beds were very comfortable and the sheets are amazing. I would definitely recommend. We do not use the kitchen to cook, so I don’t know how well stocked it was.

Ideal location for Holidays

The property was sparse in decor in living room and felt barren. Area rugs would help. The lighting in living room could use dimmer switches for more ambiance or more lamps. The kitchen was poorly supplied in baking pans for cooking holiday meals. Better knives would be helpful. A roll up shade in kitchen would reduce direct sunlight. Water pressure in the guest bathroom shower was low.

Renter’s Opinion of house

Dining room chairs were wore out and 1 was broke. We were afraid to even sit on them. Living room couch was dirty and wore out. When you would sit on the couch you would sink so low it was hard to get out of it. 8550 BTU ac would not cool the 4 bedroom house it barely cooled the living room There were not enough bath towels for 6 of us; some were hand towels Several windows needed to be replaced because if we opened them the screens would fall out The timer on the clothes dryer did not work The fluorescent lights in the garage did not work which made it hard to see when doing laundry after dark Owner was hard to get hold of to get the Wi-Fi code and other matters Handrail on outside stairs and steps paint was off and the wood is very rough Didn’t realize this was an upper duplex Duplex needed painting The area was great but this is an older building and needed much updating.
