Only a 30 minute walk into the city - the dragon bridge is a must see and breaths fire on a Sat and Sun at 9pm! The room itself was fantastic; we were given a suite with a kitchen and dining area and it was very clean and modern. The staff were also very polite and friendly. At night the shutters are closed over the entrance, so if you get back late and need to get in just ring the bell or knock on the gate and the security guard will let you in. Would need a taxi to get into town but there is a street in front with a lot of food (walkable) facilities were ok, can't really complain for what you are paying it's a nice clean comfortable bed with air con. We booked a car to Hue from the front desk but the information provided was all over the place. This ticked us off abit but like I said can't expect much.
