With everything so close in a beautiful location, why stay anywhere else? Crazy Horse Monument is a short 4.2 mile drive up the hill from this house, and Custer State Park is just 7 miles away. Medicine Mountain road is only 2.9 miles down the road, for access to miles and miles of national forest and forest service roads for your outdoor and ATV/UTV adventures. This home is located near Medicine Mountain Road Road (2.9 miles away) which has many forest service roads which also connect to the Hill City ATV/UTV trail systems which turn into snowmobile trails in the winter. Guests with motorcycles will love this home as there is only .5 miles of well maintained gravel to the highway, making it both centrally located and easy to get around. In addition to the limited gravel, there is plenty of parking outside for trailers and vehicles. Please note, the garage is not available for guests use. The location was perfect for adventures to Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, the Badlands, and so much more. In fact we could see Crazy Horse from the road to the house. One suggestion is to have enough toilet paper always available and facial tissues, too. Also enough hooks or towel racks for the amount of people that can stay there. A bit more shelf or table space in the bathrooms for the guests things would help, too. Also, look at getting a bigger pressure tank for water pressure.
