"This home is located on a canal facing west so the sunset views were incredible. The guest rooms had lavender scented memory foam mattresses that were very comfortable and calming. The center dining room/dining table were really cool. The canoe part was stocked with games. The washer and dryer were brand new and did loads of laundry lightning fast. Just a short drive to the beach and horses everywhere. Can’t beat a beach weekend in Carova."

"The property was modern and clean. Great location for viewing birds, horses & dolphins. It was wonderful for submerging yourself in the wildlife sounds of Outerbanks. We heard coyotes and plenty of nocturnal birds at night. Ensure you have a high clearance AWD or 4WD vehicle to get there. The only odd things were no hand soap for the bathroom or kitchen and the additional charge for linens. Otherwise, it was a 5/5 experience! Thanks for sharing"

"Absolutely love this property and area. They work well for my wife and I and our Lab. Everything is within walking distance. 3 min to the beach. 3 min to the Lighthouse. And restaurants near by. Great place to just check out for a bit, relax and unwind. The property amenities are coming along with the pool and fitness room now open."

The home is well-designed - the master bedroom and bath upstairs and 3 bedrooms and bath downstairs allowed 3 generations of our family to sleep comfortably and still have privacy and some personal space when we wanted. "Carova Beach is magical - as if time stood still. In my opinion, this is one of the loveliest houses out there. It is SPOTLESSLY clean, it has everything you need and the old world style of the home is the icing on the cake. Couldn’t be any more relaxing. The beach is BEAUTIFUL and a two minute walk from the house. Be prepared! There is NOTHING in Carova Beach. Bring water and food unless you plan on going back and forth to the pavement which isn’t exactly easy. MIND THE TIDES when getting on...
