Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was modern, updated and clean. Loved the decor, the blackout curtains, the firm‑but‑soft bed and it was very convenient to downtown.
This was my first stay at this hotel but will not be my last. Our room was clean bed was comfortable. The bathroom appeared updated. I didnt try the breakfast so I can't speak on that. My only concern was my room smelled slightly like cigarette smoke even though whole location is no smoking in rooms. Otherwise this was a nice stay
Pretty great, clean spacious rooms. Plenty of towels, breakfast has a good variety of carbs- donuts muffins waffles cereals, some apples bananas and yogurt, could have used some eggs or sausage or something like that, minor opinion. Perfect last minute stop in a well maintained clean pleasant property!
I was in town for a wedding and needed some where to stay . The location was about 20 minutes from the venue . So it didn’t take me no time to get back . The hotel was very clean and alot of space. I will definitely be back
Everything was perfect. I was happy to have a good sized fridge with freezer cubby. There’s also a water fill station on the third floor next to an ice machine. Breakfast did the trick with lots of fresh yummy fruit (bananas, apples, clementines). The bed was very comfortable, too.
The hotel was spotless, the room was very comfortable and clean. The morning breakfast options was good. There is a mini market within the hotel with a variety of options. It is well located off major highways. I would like to acknowledge one employee, Rebecca Stephen’s for her professionalism, cheerfulness and helpful suggestions on things to do while at the hotel.
Booked on short notice because reviews were great. Fantastic decision. Lobby, eating area, and rooms were all very clean. Everyone we encountered on staff was friendly, attentive, and caring. Breakfast was fresh, well stocked, and maintained really well the entire time it was opened. Would stay again!
Room was clean and staff was friendly.
HOWEVER: I would probably not put handicapped guests on the 2nd floor - if there is a fire and the elevator is closed, there is NO WAY for them to get down the stairs safely.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Sadly, the best thing about the stay was the breakfast. Hot items and nice healthy items as well as eggs and pancakes. But that's about where the good times ended.
Desk. Poor location design. The desk is located directly in front of the AC unit so it blows directly on you while you work with no way to deflect it. Vents are 12" from where you sit.
Shelves are also poorly placed. They place the sharp edge of a shelf right beside the desk so you can bang (and cut) your knee easily while you work. I know because I did. Just swap the shelves with the frig and problem solved. Also the ones in the bathroom will get you coming out of the shower. Again, I know because they did.
Broken stairway door. Anytime someone went in or out, it slammed loudly against the wall and shook the shared wall in my room. You see if you like being woken up at 1 or 6am in the morning while people come and go.
Early check-in fee. No where on the documents or confirmation I received mentioned a charge for early check-in. Also, the desk told me $25 at check-in and I was billed was $30.
I like to try different hotels in that area when I stay in Culpeper and will not be staying in this one again. They charge about $130/night for a "micro hotel". Those are not micro prices especially for what you get.
