"Staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was a bit small but we'll appointed and very comfortable. The hotel itself is just beautiful with amazing stone works and art. The pool on the roof top was stunning with beautiful 360 degree views over the city. The included breakfast buffet was outstanding and one of the best we've ever had. Loved this place!!"

"This property is quite remote. I don’t recommend trying to find it in the dark- although we were sent very good instructions. This place encourages mingling with other guests and we had a delightful time with a British and a Swedish couple around the huge fireplace and at the communal dining table. It is well worth requesting the dinner for$€30 a person including wine."

"Loved that it’s in a vinegar, with access to hotel chain’s own winery and wines. The winery visit was short and very informative. We didn’t do the tasting because we already know the wines, so we just did our own Port tasting at the bar (no tastings available, have to visit the Porto location). Breakfast was delicious and included. The omelette station was great, excellent service. Had dinner both nights at the buffet but one night was great, the next the food was not hot.
