Beautiful location directly on New River. Cabin was well appointed but there was a slow leak at the base of the upstairs toilet. Not sure if the seal needs replacing or the toilet just needs to be tightened up a bit. Also, the seat needs to be replaced or tightened up. I would also recommend replacing the charcoal grill. One of the wheels is broken and wants to fall off when moving the grill. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.
The location was great, we loved being right on the water. Loved that pets are welcome. A few things to note. The pictures look as if there are all kinds of swings off the porch, my kids were real excited about. There was only one swing. That was let down. The ping pong table does not exist. The wifi is terrible. The thermostat was a little iffy. And there is a camper almost flush up to the house that is owned by someone else, and they were loud all weekend, which wasn't a big deal, but when it's bed time that was a little irritating. All in all I would stay there again. We had a great time, family time was not ruined.
It’s a beautiful spot! Especially enjoyed coffee sitting on the back deck, with the calming sound of the river flowing by and the cool fresh mountain air.
My entire family had a ball. The fire pit and back porch area were awesome. We played corn hole, roasted marshmallows and grilled by the NewRiver. Fabulous time!
Loved this property! Was perfect for our family of 5. Access to the River phenomenal. The view, the wildlife, and the peacefulness of it all was more than we expected. This is definitely a hidden gem and one we would love to return to.

Roxy's Riverfront provided a prime location for my small family to spend Thanksgiving. River access, large deck, forging firewood for the fire pit, big yard and pet friendly we had a great time and plan to return! The only concern I would mention is while it lists that it sleeps eight people, our guests were too large for the bunk beds and the pull out couch is in the middle of living space with no privacy. The garage and a blow up mattress served well as a third sleeping location. Four adults and four children would be ideal.

Enjoyed the stay. The house is perfectly located to enjoy the river. It is small and cozy with a bit of a beach house feel. It's off the beaten path which adds to the charm.
The property inside was very nice and clean. The up keep outside was a bit unkept. Very tall weeds around front entrance and deck area. Very, very high grass at riverbank, it made fishing or swimming virtually impossible. I know things happen & problems arise... also washer and dryer was not available. It was being replaced and could not be hooked up at time we were there..
Overall I would rate a 6 on (1-10) scale. Mostly due to outside upkeep..
Thanks
