It is misleading and there is a Gatwick South Premier Inn. This it way too far from the airport. We spent almost 3hours locating the property, only to end up paying more for transport, and we were just left in the road side, with limited lighting, I paved walkway going to the property, no available food to order, no AC which we wouldn’t mind if we didn’t walk too much for being instructed by workers of the airport to take this tram, take the bus, an so on. The receptionists were not even welcoming and told us they couldn’t find our reservation in their system. I showed them my confirmation and even said she will take us in but with them taking a high risk since we do not have confirmation on their end. The area is like in a horror movie. The property is newly renovated but with very limited help, the pictures of manors in the same lot looks dilapidated. For your travelers’ safety, please make sure they have the right ad on the website. I was given rewards of $50 but they took away my rewards for the 2 completed reservations…. Pleas do not fool your clients, too. I have been with Expedia and this so far has been the worst nightmare… in the end, one of your reps said “I’m giving you extra reward on my own.”… yes…but why take the rewards I had for other completed bookings? We thought the shuttle bus for the airport was free (it is 5 pounds per person) and that it departed from the hotel. It is not so. You have to wait for it on the road and the reception girl did not give us proper timetable...just suggeested that the taxi was easier. Which infact it is (they have a direct line telephone in the hall). The taxi should have been 20 pounds...we ended up paying 30 (including tip). No air conditiong in the room, just a fan...think about if you stay during the summer with 30 degrees temperature! We also had a bad experience in the morning. Someone tried to run away from the police and was arrested just in front of our room when we were going out to have breakfast. It was quite shocking and frightening. We waited in the room and when we finally got down to have breakfast it was as nothing had happened with the police just outside the entrance...
