However, I had trouble finding and accessing messages from the owner that she sent through VRBO. All previous hosts had communicated directly with me via text or emails (which is simple and reliable). I called VRBO service when I got no text or emails from this owner, and they sent me a text stating how to get into the house, but no more info. Via text, she told me that the detailed info for guests was in PDF form in my VRBO messages, which I had difficulty finding and then accessing. I requested she simply email it to me which she did not do. I eventually found & got the PDF doc but it was quite frustrating. I still wonder why she wouldn't email the doc to me. Another issue was that it is located right along a 2 lane highway so that passing vehicles were rather loud when in either of the 2 front bedrooms. ##### Foster H. Buffalo Bend was a great place to stay as a base for hiking, paddling, and seeing Lexington and Natural Bridge. Love the outdoor covered patio area, hot tub, fire pits, and grills.
