Definitely far from being a five star rated hotel, though all of my complaining did get me upgraded to a lot better room for the same rate. The staff are ridiculous, they could not figure out my booking through Hotels.com, and took a long time to find me a room that was dirty and lighting did not work in the fancy console. No bar as it was advertised, pool is not heated, staff does not know how to charge your room, was double charged twice for the rooms, since I prepaid via hotels.com and they charged me again, charged me twice for my Driver's dormitory room, double charge me during dinner, and then did not apply my advanced payment when I was checking out. Granted they are still under construction and they are pre-opening stage but that does not mean the staff should be that under trained. The logistics, I can understand but the duty manager and the front deck supervisor has NO idea what they are doing! I saved the erroneous invoices in order for me to share it with the management company. Positives - wireless network works wonderfully across the whole campus which is rare for Bangladesh in such a remote location, no mosquito at all which is also a welcome respite from the rest of Bangladesh, and pristine beach which is almost untouched by the chaos of the usual tourist sites.
Advise - the personnel needs to be trained rigorously and the hotel was not even busy, I can't imagine when they are running in full capacity what is going to happen!
