We are a Chinese family from Canada. We really enjoyed staying at this excellent hotel. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The location is right besides the main base of Meribel. The ski storage room is very convenient. Overall, the experience is fantastic. Thanks a lot for all the help from the staff.

With no previous experience with mountain resorts in the Alps, I cannot say if this hotel is actually called a "chalet", but it certainly is suggestive of one. It boasts lots of wood and large balconies overlooking the village street. And Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise is a mountain resort village. In winter such resorts cater to skiers, and in summer, to hikers; fall is a slow season and some resort hotels and even entire communities basically close down for a few months. But Le Monal still seemed quite...

The room was apparently dated. Its loft style may not work well for certain persons like me. There is no elevator to go up the 2nd floor. I chose this hotel simply because all the hotels in Les Arcs' hotels were too expensive. It is not really far away from the resort, and quite close to La Plagne. This hotel definitely can be a good alternative for ski resort goers.
