One of the most desirable locations on the famous Chippewa Flowage. Beautiful level lot with very nice sandy beach. No bank. Very private and secluded, excellent fishing and swimming right off of your own private dock. Snowmobile trails right outside your door. A short drive to Hayward and the Birkie trail. Pontoon boat rental available. A cozy northwoods cottage with all the comforts of home.

This was our second stay at this cottage and we had another great vacation. It’s a great location on the lake and the cottage has everything you need. We caught plenty of good size crappie every day. The lake is beautiful and the location is quiet and secluded. Craig is very responsive and was able to quickly respond to our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Home Sweet Hayward

The cabin provides you with a good home feeling. The amenities included lighten your packing job. The water is clear with great fishing opportunities and success. Great view of night sky for every evening fire with the wood provided. Relaxing in the sun or shade in the layout of cabin with much room for yard games and hammock hanging. The property manager is easily accessible with quick response. The only disappointment is that you have to leave when your reservation ends.5 Stars from a future returner

Slice of Heaven

Great location - only heard the local wildlife and the occasional powerboat. Property had everything you need to make this a trip memorable. Perfect for the family going fishing - had nice long dock with electrical power station to charge-up batteries, and right on water with easy access to the Big Chip. Great firepit near the private sandy beach. Would definitely return to this peaceful place. The owner was very responsive to any questions I had before and during my stay. Thanks again for allowing us to unplug from society for the week!

We love it here. The cabin suits us perfectly. The dock is great for our rental. The fire pit is perfect for sunset s’mores. Pan fish dinners every night from the dock. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us again!

Beautiful property

The cabin was clean and comfortable with an excellent view of the lake. There is a very nice sandy beach for kids to play. I wouldn't consider the swimming to be very good the week we came though. There were quite a lot of weeds making swimming past knee deep difficult.

Great vacation!

We stayed at this cabin last year and loved it so much, we booked it for this year's vacation and again had a fantastic time! Kids loved the sandy beach and swam off the pier everyday. The weather was perfect and the fishing was excellent!! The sunsets in the evening were breathtaking. My grandson was so upset when we had to leave. He said he wanted to stay there forever.....

We had a wonderful time. The property was private, well appointed and clean. The owner was very responsive, accomodating and friendly. We brought an air mattress, which worked well in the living room so the adults could spread out.

Loved it!

I always hesitate to provide positive reviews when we find a great spot in Hayward so others don’t scoop it up but it’s a great place! We really enjoyed this well-appointed home, the flat slope to the water, the deck, the comfortable furnishings and the weather was perfect although a bit too warm for fishing most of the week we were here. The eagles so close, loons all night and pileated woodpeckers stopping in daily, right in the yard.! We spent a day fishing with a guide to end our week and caught a lot! Very quiet location too! A memorable and relaxing time. Thank you Craig!

Summer Vacation

We really enjoyed our week stay at the lake cabin. The sandy area was perfect for our 4 year old Grandson to play and swim. The cabin had everything you need and was well stocked. Fishing was great. We definitely would rent this cabin again.
