"Hotel is very dirty "

"The rooms are showing their age although upgrading has apparently begun. Staff are friendly but the hot water was turned off for several hours and the dining room remained closed even after hot water was restored. No compensation was offered, not even complimentary coffee."

"This pertains to my room: the hair dryer didn't work and I was told they couldn't get another one, the phone was sitting on the table with no cord. The room was clean and the bed was very nice but the small square pillows were hard to sleep on. Being on the ground floor, there were people walking around at 2:00 am right above us and all during the night. Advice would be to bring your own pillow, hair dryer and stay on the top floor. Breakfast was good also with hot and cold choices."

"This is literally my second home when I visit Tuscaloosa. It's always nice, quiet, clean, and welcoming. The Staff is always amazing from the late night shift workers to the day shift workers. The breakfast is nice, warm, and hot. Always a great selection of choices for breakfast - I especially love their grits, the different variety of meats they serve, and not to mention their all-famous Cinnamon buns. #ToDieFor# They also have healthier breakfast selections as well like fruits, yogurt, etc. The swimming pool is amazing. My little ones love it (a lot). The beds are so comfortable, too that I always end up extending my stay. Then I remember- oh, I have a house to go back home to enjoy. Those have always been my experiences from staying here. Check-in is fairly quick and check-out is a breeze, too. Another thing I like to is that your television greets you by your name when you arrive to your room. #Simply Amazing #Very Welcoming #Very Nice. Also, coffee and tea is always available downstairs especially if you would like a quiet moment to yourself and a nice refresher for a few minutes. Hope my review is helpful and insightful!!! "Elevator was out, I am handicap and moving luggage downstairs was horrific. I have a broke neck which makes me unable to look down or sideways, therefore walking downstairs is more than dangerous for me. Elevator was out for several days. "

"This hotel is our favorite in Tuscaloosa—spacious clean rooms, excellent service, lovely common spaces, delicious full breakfast, and all centrally located in a beautiful part of town, walkable to downtown, 5 min drive from Bama, and across from Parker-Hahn Park and the best little coffee shop—Heritage House. We ALWAYS stay here!"
