This hotel is outstanding in all areas. It’s staff make it what it is. They are extremely helpful and will go out of their way to ensure your holiday goes well. Our receptionist and breakfast staff really looked after us, and were always smiling! The hotel is clean, quiet and peaceful and perfectly situated in Murta Maria. Restaurants and supermarkets all in walking distance. The breakfasts were delicious. The pool was clean and there were enough sun beds for guests. The hotel ran a shuttle down to the beach every day and we used this a number of times. You need a car to explore the surrounding area. A perfect place to stay.

Hotel Daniel is a very clean and comfortable hotel in Olbia. The breakfast is one of the best we’ve ever experienced at a hotel in Italy, and we travel a lot. The location is perfect for exploring the area, especially if you have a car, and there are fabulous restaurants and a grocery store within a 5 minute walk. The pool was clean and relaxing, and the neighbourhood is safe and quiet. It’s a hidden gem!

Good location for later flights into Olbia.
Very handy only 10 minutes from Airport when we flew in around 8pm. Host was waiting for us and room was adequate for 3 of us. There was no lift but host helped us with luggage. Parking out the front. Pool looked nice but we didn’t get to use it. Local area isn’t the greatest so one night was suitable before starting out road trip. Breakfast was great.

Hotel Daniel, Murta Maria
Lovely hotel, comfortable, clean rooms. Serviced daily, even towels which didn't need to be, thinking environmentally here. Great breakfast selection, pastries, muffins, eggs, sliced meats, cheeses, yogurts and fruit. Excellent coffee, I like a double espresso topped up with hot water and after the first morning it would appear on my table without asking. The staff were lovely, very helpful and professional. The fresh water pool was right outside our door, very refreshing and never busy. There is a football and tennis area available but when we asked if my son could play ball, we were told it was 50 euros, so we gave that a miss! Porto Istana beach is a short distance away, a shuttle bus is available twice daily from the hotel. We drove, follow signs to White Sand for easier access. Hotel Daniel sun loungers with umbrellas are on the beach and available for hire 25 euros for two for the day. Restaurants are within walking distance, lots to choose from, great for fish lovers but also plenty of pasta and pizzas. Would recommend Caminera, Restaurant Murta Maria, there are so many to choose from, be prepared to wait for the bill and ask if you need to pay at the front otherwise you could wait a long time!

Fantastic hotel, staff so friendly and helpful .
Would definitely go back, the pool was great. The staff and owner couldn’t do enough for you. It was a very relaxing holiday just what we wanted.

A calm oasis
The hotel Daniel is a calm oasis in a small beach oriented town south of Olbia. Within walking distance we could find a grocery store in several good restaurants to choose from. The beach was about 2 km away, so you would need a car to get there. There is paid parking, but most people opt to pull up on the side of the road in order to avoid the fees. Consequently you need to get there fairly early in order to find a spot. The rooms were spacious, immaculate and comfortable, and breakfast was very good in the morning. If we had one complaint would be that the Wi-Fi was not working for the entire time that we were there. The front desk staff kept telling us that they were coming any minute to fix it, but we spoke to one of the other guests who have been there for a week, and she said it did not work the entire time that they were there. Frankly, we enjoyed the disconnect and pretended that it was 20 years ago when everybody wasn’t constantly connected by social media, Wi-Fi and electronic devices. We would certainly go back.

Great holiday, lovely hotel
Hotel Daniel was a great place to stay. The staff were so friendly and made our stay so happy. The hotel was quiet and relaxed. The pool was great. The rooms were very clean with lots of space. The beach nearby is beautiful, with clear warm water and fine sand. Thank you so much for a brilliant holiday!

A very satisfying experience
The hotel is well signposted in the small town of Murta Maria.The welcome was very warm and friendly-only my passport was requested and no payment demanded until check-out. The facilities both in the room and within the hotel were clearly explained in detail. Although all 7 days of the stay were spent away from the hotel any contact I had with any of the 3 staff was extremely positive and they were very helpful with all questions regarding the surrounding area. A small but well maintained swimming pool is welcome after a day away in the sunshine. A good continental breakfast is served with the usual choices of bread,cake,fruits,ham and cheese.

Hotel near the beach.
Very pleasant family-run hotel in a quiet area, own swimming-pool also access to the beach with transfer bus three times a day. Well-located, an easy stroll to local restaurants. Very pleasant and helpful staff, well-recommended.

Great communication before hand when making arrangements for arrival. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Room and bed was comfortable and cleaned every day. Hotel provides sun beds at the beach just need to remember to book them, also provide a free shuttle to the beach and back. Hotel provided us with a taxi service to the next town. Their English was better than our Italian. We couldn't have asked for more helpful and friendly people and place to spend our honeymoon. Very quite hotel and often had pool to ourselves. Surrounding area had enough restaurants for a different meal each night. Would recommend car hire, although the bus service was punctual on the hour, very cheap.

Ideal for our stopover, short drive from airport.
Booked the Hotel for one night as a stopover at the start of our holiday. We did not arrive in Olbia until 9pm. We emailed the hotel to advise we would be a late arrival and received a prompt reply that it was not a problem. Unable to comment on the surrounding area as we only used as a stop over. Was a short drive from the airport and managed to find in the dark. Plenty of parking. The room was very clean and spacious, plus a really comfortable bed. Really nice continental breakfast the next morning, beautiful pool, sorry we did not have time to make use of it. Service from arrival to leaving was very good and friendly. Would certainly book again.

Close to airport
This hotel is located close to the airport but there is not much in the town itself. The room was clean and pleasant. When I stayed there were some renovations being done, namely the pool. Within walking distance to a small supermarket and a handful of restaurants and cafes. It is nothing special, but for the price it was ok. A car is highly recommended since there is nothing to see or do in the sleepy town of Murta Maria. There are two bus stops nearby but the buses come infrequently.

Beautiful Sardinian Getaway
The hotel rooms are basic, but they are definitely of 3 star standard, everything worked fine in the room we stayed in and anything we were unsure of the staff were more than happy to help with. Anthony (the owner's son) was extremely helpful and nothing was too much for him to do for us, we would not have found nearly as many of the nice areas surrounding the hotel had it not been for him. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance (we recommend the Murta Maria and La Pergola - Pizzas of course are fantastic). The hotel is slightly away from the beach - but again within walking distance but more comfortable to cycle, bicycles are provided with no extra charge. Breakfast is well presented if simple, but all very nice. The hotel doesn't have a pool which I was a bit dubious about to begin with, but every beach in the area is brilliantly maintained and clean with crystal clear waters so who needs a pool anyway? Basically just book the hotel, Sardinia is a beautiful island!

the location is ideal for the airport. The owner and staff were really freiendly. Our room was small but clean and had everything we needed. The breakfats was the best we had out of the four hotels we stayed in - good selection of quality food. Only let down by small bit of work outside and would bennefit from a pool. Close to beach which is really nice but busy.

Very good clean hotel
Only stayed here one night, but seemed in an excellent position for some good beaches, also a couple of very good restaurants within a 200 metre walk. Nice garden to sit out in although our room also had a veranda with table and chairs. Only thing I would criticise was the breakfast.

Rent, fint och tyst boende. Vi bodde två vuxna och två tonårsbarn på ett rum i fem nätter utan problem. Poolområdet blev som ett extra vardagsrum. Frukosten var en väldigt bra continentalfrukost som varierades med små medel.

Wir waren nur eine Nacht in der Unterkunft. Leider war unser Zimmer sehr dunkel und roch alt und muffelig. Die guten Bewertungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Viel zu teuer, Frühstück eher durchschnittlich. Ich würde nicht wieder kommen.

Goed is de sfeer van dit familie hotel. Men kan duidelijker aangeven wanneer er een shuttle bus rijd naar het strand (seizoen gebonden) De vermelding geen OV is fout is foutief op 200m afstand is er een bushalte die je naar stad en/ of vliegveld brengt

Die Unterkunft ist an einer ruhigen Strasse. Olbia und auch sehr schöne Strände sind mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber.
