HEATED POOL (at no extra charge), SIX PASSENGER GOLF CART (again, at no extra charge), WALK TO THE BEACH OR RESTAURANTS OR SHOPPING, PLENTY OF SPACE TO PARK MULTIPLE CARS OR A BOAT, BEACH PASS, SMART TVS IN EVERY ROOM, CHARCOAL GRILL, FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN, WASHER AND DRYER!!!! THIS HOUSE HAS IT ALL!
The moment you walk in you can feel the tranquility and beauty of this home. The home is a perfect getaway for large family gatherings or 2 families getting together or a small family looking for a big time!
The living room has comfortable seating (*Just updated - New living room furniture for spring/summer 2025), a large screen TV, and a coffee table large enough to play games or work a HUGE puzzle! The dining room offers a cute, eclectic shabby chic table. The kitchen is well furnished with dishes and pots and pans and all things necessary for a small brunch or a festive dinner for 12!
The HEATED Private Pool is a must in Port A! The pool is a 10x26 with a tanning ledge for you to lounge.
The 6 passenger golf cart has the beach access pass and will allow you to park right on the beach! You can drive it downtown to dinner or just cruise the beach at sunset!
Every room has a smart TV for relaxing at the end of a long fun filled day! We have included a few nook spaces where kids can go to "get away'"!
The grilling and outdoor spaces are shady and the breeze is comfortable during the summer sunny days. There is enough parking for 4 cars, or 3 trucks.
The beach is less than 3/4 mile away- perfect for a morning walk or jog to the beach and back. There are about 50 restaurants, bars, shopping attractions, the local grocery, and a ton of people/bird watching located less than a mile away.

Amazing stay

This was our second stay here and it was another fabulous vacation! Kids loved the pool and golf cart rides to the beach! Kitchen is very well stocked with spices, foil and plastic bags. We will be back!

The house was a great location and perfect size for our family trip! The pool was used a ton and a great size for small kiddos. The house was well stocked and cooking meals was easy. The only critiques are that the stove could use an upgrade eventually and the ac sounds like it’s dying.

Family Thanksgiving Holiday

This is a great property for multiple families. There is plenty of dishware, the kitchen is well stocked and three full bathrooms made it easy for everyone to have privacy on their own schedule. The heated pool and golf cart are a plus.

Great Place to Stay

This property is in a great location, not in the middle of town, but close to visit all food, bars, shops. The pool is larger than those we have previously stayed. Had all amenities needed for stay and Dollar General right down the road. Pictures show gas grill - it is a charcoal grill. If baking, heating in oven may bring your own flat pans/cookie sheets. Hope to rent again in future!

Great Location

Enjoyed our stay and loved having a golf car already waiting for us on site. We were there right before Hurricane Beryl hit and we had great communication with the owners. They were very informative on what was going on and what to expect.

Perfect Home

This home was very spacious for our family of 10. The pool was nice for the kids and they spent many hours swimming and picnicking downstairs. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need including spices and storage bags. We especially enjoyed the convenience of having a golf cart without having to rent one. It made the trips to the beach quick and easy! Can’t wait to return next summer!

Great house!

The living and dining area was large, and we never felt crowded (even though there were several adults and two children). We spent lots of time in the pool, and we loved having the golf cart for trips to the beach! The house was just as nice as it looks in the pictures!

Port A Rental House

Overall, the house was a good fit for our needs. 1. They had plenty of cookware for those of us that preferred to make our own meals. 2.The golfcart was the primary reason for our decision in selecting the place - It's not in peak condition, but it will get you around town and to&from the beach. The location of the house makes it easy to drive to the beach or the stores. 3. The private pool is on the smaller side but we enjoyed it. There seemed to be lots of pool items that were available, but most required inflation and we didnt feel the need to do so for our stay. If we had little ones with us, we may have tried a few to keep the kids entertained. 4. The books in the house were actually some that I would read, so there was that option too. 5. The house also has a working washer and dryer for laundry needs. 6. There was plenty of space for our entire party to sleep. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean and in working condition. We did mention some items that the hosts should consoder addressing after our stay (we didnt feel they warranted immediate action while we were there) and they responded promptly and followed up the next day to inform me they had taken steps to address those issues. We would recommend to others for future visits.
