Quiet area, great proximity to beach. Can hear waves and watch sunrise on front deck while sipping coffee. Wild horses walk through yard.

Idyllic beach cottage🌊🐴

Cottage is great, very well appointed, all you need is food and bug spray!! Ignore the GPS and stay on the beach till the mile marker the host gives you!! GPS keeps taking you inland and with the puddles from recent storms, it’s an OFF ROAD Adventure for sure!! Loved my stay, I’ll be back! Saw horses along the beach and near the house every day 🌊🐴

Amazing getaway for 2

House is small but very clean, 12 foot ceilings, Lots of windows, big deck. Those added lots of open airy feelings for us. The wild horses are in the yard daily. Fantastic sunrises and subsets! We were also able to see the Milky Way! Simply breathtaking!

Perfectly Appointed Getaway For Two

Perfectly simple. Everything one might need for a beach getaway. Kitchen, living room, bedroom and bath all well appointed and comfy cozy. TV in living room has a great sound bar that served as a wonderful Bluetooth speaker, and another massive TV in the bedroom for lazing around if you catch a bit of bad weather. Great little deck out front with views to the North, East and South, and if you catch a clear night, the heavens above. Star-filled skies that will astound.

Very nice little cottage

This cottage is very nice for a couple. It is well maintained, almost new. The amenities are good and it’s cozy and comfortable. There aren’t any stores nearby, so make sure you bring everything you need. You can make it here during high tide, but low tide is way easier. We came in late August and the water was a perfect 78F and crystal clear. If you arrive at night, watch out for sea turtles and horses on the beach!

Great location but cottage needs better house keeping

Cute cottage, location is great. Very close to the beach. Easy fixes but needs to be addressed: There was garbage piling on the lot and visible from the deck. Pubic hair on the floor, toilet, shower. Squeaky/loud self made bed, stains on the towels. False advertising of hot tub. We explored and saw it was on site at the bigger house, but not available to us. Garage and ice-maker were a nice bonus, including beach chairs, sun shade, skim board, etc. but we helped ourselves to them, and not sure upon writing this review that it was allowed. Small improvements would make this place great again, but it is somewhat remote, so perhaps we’re overly critical. Overall, good value and had a nice time.

This beach house was a nice little getaway place for us. The communication was very clear and we had no issues checking in. Unfortunately the power went out on our 2nd night there (which was our last night) so we decided to head back home early since we also didn’t have access to water with the power outage and we were unsure how long it would take for the power to be restored. It was a general outage so it was nothing that could be done until the town took care of the issue. Overall, we enjoyed our short getaway at the beach.

Amazing location. A few bumps with getting in touch with the host/check in instructions, and the AC went out in the middle of the night, but luckily it was cool enough that we stayed comfortable. Very minimal kitchen supplies, and the closest store is a long way back, so be sure to bring your own coffee, ice, etc. Great porch, hot tub was great, and the beach is gorgeous.

We had a wonderful stay , the house was beautiful we enjoyed the hot tub. The beach was beautiful and we got to see the horses while we spent time on the beach and a visit from a deer one morning at the house. There is one thing that would have been helpful is that it is 10 miles off the pavement across the beach , definitely recommend getting groceries before heading to the beach house. Other than that our stay was perfect!!!

We had an excellent time in this cottage. It was nice and removed, and the beach was not crowded at all. We enjoyed our mornings and afternoons lounging around and would recommend staying here.

The ride to the house is about 12 miles from air down which is on your left a couple miles before the beach. Don’t follow your GPS just ride the beach along the dunes after Memorial Day except between the beach ramps 14 and 17 which they want you to keep more toward the water - 15mph is the max speed on the way in and near any people or wild horses of which you will see plenty of both. We didn’t learn this until we got to the house. The house is a beach stay perfect for two. We didn’t use the outside shower or hot tub but they both looked amazing. We had a great time relaxing on the porch which has comfy swivel rockers. We saw horses, deer, bunnies and heard so many beautiful bird songs. We had a great vacation.

Very cute cottage perfect for my boyfriend and I to stay for the weekend. They have most everything we needed for cooking in the kitchen. The ice machine in the garage was amazing since there was nowhere else to get ice. Overall it was a great place to stay!
