Location was perfect for me. I have a strong love of horses in my volunteer work of 7 years in Pennsylvania. I love learning! Mother Nature provided a serene environment with birds , stillness, and a gentle breeze. Cottage was clean, comfortable and functional. So smart! Host was very responsive. I got to spend an extra day. So happy about extending my stay. Location was ideal for me. Horses did graze right around the property. Businesses/ restaurants were all very friendly. Very pleasant and helpful. Renters should be aware when they desire to have food delivered to property. Need to check all details with delivery service provider. Delivery will take longer and there are restrictions as to where the restaurant or service provider will deliver. ( i. e. Milepost# ). Also, possibly weather conditions. My stay was bliss. Cannot wait to return to Corolla. Thank you for a much needed recharge and a time to heal for me.

The location, cleanliness and house were absolutely perfect. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars was that the bed needs to be addressed. Something is up with it. Everything else was absolutely perfect! It is a great little cottage perfect for a couples getaway!! Even got to see a couple of the famous wild horses!

My wife and I were looking for a small/affordable place to spend a week for our anniversary. With the goal of seeing some of the wild horses that make this place famous. This place was perfect for a couple! Modern place with all amenities covered. And the horses were not hard to find, as they were our yard almost every morning!!!- Full kitchen with stove/oven, microwave, toaster, fridge, coffee maker (kureg and pot), as well as plates, bowls, cups, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans. - Charcoal Grill provided outside.- Living Room and Bedroom both have Smart TVs. Both also have ceiling fans!- The balcony was wonderful, with furniture and table, and a large porch ceiling fan as well. Check-in doesnt get easier. Door was unlocked, with Keys, Beach Parking Pass, and general information waiting inside. Our honest, single complaint, was the bed. Both my wife and I found it uncomfortable, and felt like we were both falling into the middle towards each other. But we know bed preference can vary significantly, and some may find it enjoyable. Overall, if we ever do come back to Carova Beach, this will be the place we stay!

Very cute cottage perfect for my boyfriend and I to stay for the weekend. They have most everything we needed for cooking in the kitchen. The ice machine in the garage was amazing since there was nowhere else to get ice. Overall it was a great place to stay!

Perfect, has everything you need. Clean , washer/dryer, garage to put your beach items in. Ice maker for the cooler. Extra fridge, beach chairs. We had horse out front first night and was napping in the yard when came back from beach . Highly recommend !

Everything was neat and clean. Didn’t have any issue whatsoever, descriptive details on what to do during checkout and was helpful with tips before we arrived for example getting groceries before heading out. Over great services would 100% recommend to others!

We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The cottage was just the perfect size and had all the amenities that you needed including a full kitchen. The hosts, Vicki and Blake, were super nice and quick to respond to our needs. The beach was only a couple blocks away which made it convenient and driving on the beach in our Jeep was a blast. Wildlife to include wild horses and deer are everywhere, even had a couple of black horses visit the cottage grounds. I highly recommend choosing this wonderful property if you want to experience real beach living.

Wonderful property. Convenient drive to the beach and very secluded 11 miles up the beach. Loved the garage- could pull our jeep right into the garage with the doors off without worry. Grill was convenient-deck was nice. Horses came up to the yard. Can’t wait to come back next year. Thanks John for a great, affordable stay for my wife and I.

Outer Banks Carolla Beach Cottage

Awesome! Small and charming with great Beach Acces. Wild horses and awesome Jeep 4x4 driving. Perfect stay for a couple. Great vacation spot. Quiet and very nice property location. Owner/Property Managent was great also. Highly recommend!
