The only reason they didn’t receive a higher rating was that there was no daily housekeeping, it was missing a hair dryer( which they promptly rectified ) and there was no kettle in the room for tea. There is no real amenities ie a gym but the breakfast was lovely. The property has no outside garden or outdoor space to enjoy however it was a perfect walk to downtown. The staff was very nice and accommodating installing a hair dryer while we were out, cleaning our room earlier then slotted in bc there timing didn’t work for us,( but not a very good job) and grabbing us hot water for our tea when we asked. There was on site self parking.

We had a spacious suite , unfortunately it was very dimly lit, and three nights in we found silver fish in two locations in our room. We alerted the manager , and on a 7 night stay was offered a $40 credit without an apology. After voicing my concern that they may have gotten into our suitcases, clothing , etc. His words were it is a dampness bug that usually doesn't climb. I told him we found one while we were sitting on the sofa and two on the kitchen counter which means they definitely climbed and could very well be taken home into our house . We often stay at Sandman properties, but this has left us looking elsewhere in the future. Very disappointing

The unit was very clean. Accurate description and photos. Provided a stocked kitchen with everything you would need. Also the in suite laundry is great! Would definitely stay again and would recommend.
