While there were a few standout employees who made our stay more pleasant, including Nicole and Dawn at Half Cracked, Dakota and Alberto at the Front Desk, Ozzy from Electrical, and the housekeeping staff, our overall experience was mixed. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained throughout our stay. Both pools were also very pleasant, clean, and well-kept, making them enjoyable places to relax. One issue we encountered was that the air conditioner in our room was not working properly for the first two days of our stay, which made it very uncomfortable. Thankfully, Ozzy from Electrical responded promptly and was able to fix the issue, and we greatly appreciated his professionalism and help. Unfortunately, much of the hotel staff came across as unwelcoming and, at times, rude. This was especially noticeable at the Stadium Bar and the Half Cracked location, where customer service fell far below what we expected from a resort. Friendly and attentive service can make a huge difference in a guest’s experience, and sadly that was lacking in many of our interactions. We were also underwhelmed by the food throughout the resort. While the menu options seemed promising, the overall quality and flavor did not meet expectations. We truly appreciate the employees who went above and beyond to provide excellent service, but improvements in customer service and dining quality are needed.
