I arrived late and left early but got a glimpse into the nooks and crannies with art and books in all the public places. I couldn’t get breakfast as due to covid the room wasnt open. It’s like being in a 19th century salon - and definitely check out the bathroom in the entry way. The porcelain toilet is vintage wonderful. The staff were amazing too. They literally stood out in the street blocking traffic to help us back into the parking space - and then kindly allowed us to keep the car after check out so that we wouldn’t have to tackle parallel parking. All in all, it was a wonderful stay. The staff made it as pleasant as absolutely possible with a lovely drink offer. Would stay again if in Cork.
