Discover Copenhagen’s origins as a 12th-century fishing town in the City Museum and then try fresh seafood in the Nyhavn (New Harbor). Its northern location brings long winters, but visitors appreciate seeing the magic of the historic city draped in snow.

The Round Tower also seems to emerge straight from the children’s books of this popular Danish author and the tall structure has some dark tales of its own. Another magnificent lookout point is the corkscrew-shaped spire of the 17th-century Church of Our Saviour. From its windows it is easy to see why so many people fall in love with Copenhagen.
