"Good central location which we stayed in twice on our recent trip to Central Australia. On the way up the room was above ground and near the road - a bit noisy overnight and we could hear the TV in the next room On the way back, the room was between the pool and the bistro and was much quieter. Beds were comfy, Bistro was very convenient for dinner (and yummy club food). The underground museum was very good and should be promoted more. Learned heaps about Opal mining, the history and construction of the Stuart Highway and of Coober Pedy itself. Loved it and highly recommend when you are staying at this motel."
