House was clean, spacious, and had comfy beds. I appreciated the extra touches which make it feel like a true hospitality/getaway vs bland cheap rental. Host was easy to communicate with. I’d stay here again!

This was a great house for my family! My husband had to work one day and tgere was an office that he could work in while the kids watched TV in the closed off family room...it was a perfect layout! It was close to everything but the neighborhood was quite and tucked away. The house was very well stocked with everything we could have needed and plus more! They really payed attention to details and really made our stay feel upgraded. It was well decorated but not overdone where i would have to worry about kids breaking something. The beds were very comfortable also!

For someone who loves to walk or jog in a nice neighborhood plus an adjacent park, this home is great. Home was spotless, king size bed was super comfy, and everything i needed was provided including water bottles and some snacks. And this home is HUGE! Highly recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house in Conroe and look forward to staying again! The house was very clean and beautiful (I LOVE the hardwood floors), it's also very spacious, it had everything we needed and then some and we LOVED the dedicated coffee station. On top of that, it's very conveniently located to a lot of shopping and restaurants. The only thing I would even slightly hesitate about is the fact that there is no bathroom located inside the master (or any) bedroom and since I have frequent nighttime excursions to the toilet I have to take this into account depending on whom we are traveling with. Other than that, we super loved this place and hope to stay again in the near future!

Home away from home

Our stay at the Cowan house was great, it was very spacious and comfortably accommodated our big family. We loved how centralized it was to everything and the quiet neighborhood was a plus. We look forward to staying here again next time we’re in Conroe!

Reviews were misleading

I am a frequent VRBO customer and rely heavily on past reviews to pick my place. Many of the reviews for this house were 10’s or very high and in particular, said the neighborhood was quiet. It was not. The house is right next to a restaurant and a busy street. It is also very close to train tracks and we could hear the repeated horns on the trains each and every night. I reached out to the owner and they said they had never heard of that issue which is hard to believe. They were very kind however and did offer a refund if we wanted to leave. But it was too late to find another suitable place. It was tough to sleep at night. Overall the house was fine. It’s basically two units they combined into one. So one bedroom is a converted living room with a front door and windows by the street. We had issues with mosquitoes getting into the house. The check in process was easy and the owners were very quick and responsive. But the prior reviews were just very misleading and we would not stay here again.

Clean, Fun and Easily Accessible

We loved our stay in this quiet beautiful home! Everything was perfect from the very clean bathrooms to the spacious and well stocked kitchen to the comfortable beds and bedrooms! It’s just off of I 45 with easy access to grocery stores and other shopping stores. We were able to hop on and off the freeway as we visited places all around the area.

Beautiful and convenient

This is the second time staying at this house. It is by far the best property we have had the pleasure of staying at for vacation. The hosts are very responsive. I can not say enough what a beautiful and convenient property this is. It is spacious and well taken care of from the outside to the inside! Every time we come to the Conroe area we will be staying here!

Nice Accommodations, Easy In & Out

Booked this stay for eight girlfriends attending a scrapbook event in Conroe. The house is spacious, very clean, well outfitted for our stay, well maintained and the bedrooms were spacious. The house had everything we needed. The office was nice to have as one of us needed to spend a few hours working. The parking was great at the back of the house and well lit at night for coming and going. Neighbors were friendly and we all felt secure. Several of us exercised by walking in the neighborhood early morning and it was enjoyable. Restaurant options are close and we found a great breakfast place that was yummy! Jessica and Sonia are fast with responses to inquiries and are great hosts!

Ideal for a getaway

So many positives! We were in the area visiting relatives for a few days and this fit the bill. This home is immaculate and welcoming. The coffee and snack bar were beyond appreciated. We arrived later in the evening and knowing that our morning coffee was available without having to run out was really great. Plenty of space and comfort and the owners were very responsive in communications.

Conroe Visit

We were in town to participate in a disc golf tournament with Lone Star Disc, based in Conroe. The house was such a great escape from a hotel or camping like we normally do. It was a great location for our event, within 10 minutes of everything. Comfortable bedding, great common areas for relaxing and enjoying conversation, and huge outdoor space. I would stay here every visit moving forward!

Texas Custom Knife Show

This is family trip for us, kids and grandkids. The house was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out after supper and relax. Kitchen dining area was huge for everyone to gather in after the show. The yard was nice - not fenced in but still very spacious! The neighborhood but not the home is next to a busy road. So there is traffic noise. The home is beautiful and well stocked. This is a family favorite place to stay!
