« The stay was going well, until another family arrived in the adjacent room and they started creating loud noises. I understand as the floor was shared, a little noise is expected, but they were 6 people staying in a single room, and the balcony of house has a shared balcony, so the people of other room too can sit just outside your window and talk and laugh loud, and that is what exactly happened with us. They had put down the chairs just beside the window to the head of my bed, and talking...

« We enjoyed this hotel. Great view from our balcony across the valley with the dam, lake and elephant point in the distance. It's a 10 minute walk to Mapro Gardens and nearby shops and restaurants. We recommend Roots of India for a quality meal. The rooms are large, with good storage, decent shower and a comfy bed (very firm as are most beds in India). »

« First, none of the staff were wearing masks in these COVID times, even after we requested them to.in fact one young chap even had the audacity to tell us why they were not required. Second, on arrival the reception was unattended and we spent a few minutes till somebody came by to check us in. The room phone does not work, so there is no way to call for room service or housekeeping. The bloke who advised us against masks did give us his cell number to call, except that it was in the back pocket...
