"This was our second time staying at Locanda Gulfi and we enjoyed our visit thoroughly. We included a wine tasting and ate dinner at the hotel so it was almost 24 hours of relaxation and enjoyment where we did not leave the vineyard grounds at all. "A delightful stay in Vittoria wine country. Relaxing, great food, friendly staff. The room was wonderful. They provided fresh drinking water every day and some fresh fruit in the room. I thought that was a nice touch. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening with one of their fabulous aperitivo cocktails and watching the cats play. The dinner was a fixed menu. It was more food than I needed, but it was all delicious. We opted to have dinner there both nights of our stay. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. So many delicious things to try - pastries, salads, cheeses, charcuteries, fruits. The location is a nice jumping off point for exploring the small towns in the area and tasting wine of the region."

"I stayed in one of three rooms with a large terrace upstairs. Immaculate B&B Overlooking the beautiful beach/sea. Room is compact with everything one needs. The owners were lovely - checking in on me and offering many options for areas to eat and travel to. I had a car. It’s a great base to so many other old towns. Noto, Ragusa, Módica, Scicili to name a few. I was very comfortable for my 5 nights. Highly recommend this little home away from home. Thank you Giancarlo, again! "

The place to stay in Ragusa

"Centrally located, quiet, safe and comfortable, this is a great place to stay when visiting Ragusa. The rooms are beautifully remodeled and located within UNESCO buildings along a pedestrian streetscape. The communal grounds are amazing with beautiful gardens, a great pool (although unheated), and views of the surrounding area. A very nice breakfast is served in their communal breakfast room overlooking the gardens. The main town square is just a short walk away. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking and driving in this hill town can be a little tricky but street parking was fairly easy to find adjacent to the hotel. Highly recommended."
