### The Maynard Manor Sum

Summary:  
The Maynard Manor is a bright, spacious, and exquisite home for your next visit to Columbus. Tucked in the historic Old North Columbus neighborhood, this 5 BR, 2.5 BA is just steps from High St., yet only 5 minutes from the Highway. The perfect spot for families, groups, and business travelers. Our kitchen/dinning room is perfect for a family meal, and our living room is perfect for catching up with old friends. There are 4 BR and 1BA on 2nd floor, with a spacious master suite on the 3rd floor.  
  
The Space:  
The Maynard Manor is fully stocked with lots of great amenities for your trip to Columbus. The kitchen comes equipped with everything needed to prepare and serve a group meal. Our living room has 2 sleeper sofas, and plenty of seating. The Manor has a large fenced in back yard, the garage is not available for guests. 2 bedrooms have a desk and chair available for use.  
  
The Neighborhood:  
Old North Columbus is a neighborhood located just north of the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. It was founded in 1847 where, at the time, it was a stand-alone city out of the confines of Columbus until it was incorporated into the City of Columbus in 1871. In its early years the city was a popular stagecoach stop with people traveling from Worthington to Columbus. Today Old North Columbus is popular for its local music and its unique "untouched architecture" which is reminiscent of its old roots.  
  
Getting Around:  
Uber and Lyft are great ways to get around in Columbus, and our central location allows you to get to most parts of downtown in under 10 minutes, and most other parts of Columbus in under 20 minutes.  
  
We also are close to a COTA public bus stop. Also available in columbus are a bike share, and scooters!  
  
Other Things to Note:  
Guests must provide a valid driver’s license or ID and sign our Rental Agreement after booking to receive arrival instructions. Parties & unauthorized gatherings are strictly prohibited, and hosts reserve the right to withhold arrival instructions of confirmed reservations from guests with negative or low reviews, are under 25 years old and/or live closer than 100 miles from the home at the host's discretion in an effort to ensure the safety and security of our community, (impacted guests will be notified shortly after booking, and a full refund will be provided if the guest cancels the reservation in a timely manner).  
  
PET FEES: Guests are required to disclose how many pets will enter the home. A one-time fee will be required based on the length of stay for the following amounts:  
  
$35 (Less than 5 nights)  
$50 (5 - 30 nights)  
$100 (30+ nights prorated daily, or $75 for each additional full month booked)

Beds were clean, other furniture and carpeting were filthy. The pictures are not accurate. For the price I expected more. More for college kids in its current state. The positives are plenty of room and clean beds and kitchen. The host is very responsive. We made the most of it and had a great time.

I reached out multiple times to attempt to get information and how to get into property with extremely low interaction. The phone number provided only allows you to text, which would have been ok if text were responded to. The property was not very clean. The were “clean” glasses with dried orange juice still on the inside of the glass, 2 electric outlets were coming out of the wall, the upstairs shower did not have the shower head attached, bathroom fan flew out of the wall when turned on, dried blood on top of upstairs dresser, walls and door were dirty, black mold on shower curtain and grout in shower and ac unit upstairs, chunks of dirt in multiple locations stains on rugs, bad odor. Would never recommend this location to anyone.

Great location and that’s where it stops. House was filthy! Large hair wad in the shower, dirty walls and doors, moldy shower curtain, no trash liners. Not enough towels were provided. There were seven on us and we received 5 towels.
