They toilet ran all night long with noise, my key card wasn’t work the lock on the door went dead and the front ask had to let me in the room after giving me 4 keys to try. Just a awful stay.

Christopher was very friendly and I loved the young lady with the locs at the front desk. They were amazing, those 2 are special please hold on to them and your hotel will continue to feel like family

The check in was horrible. We waited for 30 minutes to see an agent. The room assigned was dirty and washroom was disgusting. We asked for valley parking and was told that they can’t accommodate and we have to use the self parking which is public parking. I’m really disappointed. Upon talking to the hotel staff they said that we should talk to Expedia as we booked through them.

My stay was terrible!!! I was asked twice in a one day stay what my room number was in the middle of the lobby because the way I look. I look homeless for a reason. I get out on the streets to show love to our homeless brothers and sisters, help meet their needs. Marriott has no problem with making their guests disclose where they are sleeping at night in the middle of the lobby. That is private information, and they have no respect for it!! I will probably never stay at another Marriott or anything owned or operated by!!

Probably won’t stay at another Marriott. While it is conventionally located downtown the rooms weren’t clean when I checked in. Hair was in the bathroom and the tile was spotty with black water marks. I called with my concern and I will
Say the staff was great at relocating me to another room. While the next room was clean it was freezing and right next to the parking garage so I heard alarms go off all night. The heater in the room was faulty but the staff did offer to send an engineer to check it out. Also I never had to pay for internet at any hotel I was staying at, but at this Marriott if you were not a rewards member you had to pay between 10-13 bucks to use internet per day! Plus you also

It's an older building. Rooms are updated. The pool was too cold for my girls to enjoy but I do like the pool room. The hot tub was out of commission which was disappointing. I would say this is a great hotel for adults but not for families with little kids. The beds were very comfortable, I liked the pillows. Lots of drippy glass though. We had a great view from the 6th floor. I personally enjoyed it, my kids did not :)
When we arrived around midnight, there was a long line. I dreaded the wait…but let me tell you that Terry was efficient and fast. She was friendly, knowledgeable, upbeat, and very pleasant. The line wait was not long at all because of her efficiency! Great employee and great job!

We had to wait several hours for a room to be ready. We got there early, around 2 and they told us the room would be ready after 4. We literally had to change in the lobby bathroom to get ready for the football game. Finally got a room after 6 as we were getting ready to leave. When you pay over $400 for one night, you shouldn’t have to change in the bathroom of the lobby.

The reason I’m giving such a crappy rating is because the hotel knew that the Carolina Clemson game would be a busy day. They didn’t have any rooms available to check in at 3pm that it shows online. My room finally became available (after cleaning) at around 7pm which was 30 minutes after the game had started and 4 hours after the normal check in time! Their utter failure to pre plan for this weekend was ridiculous and the funny thing is that this happens every other year so they know it’s a big deal in Columbia.

We were not aware that the hotel was the team hotel for the Clemson football team. The team was in town for a 7:30 pm football which means they did not check out of their rooms until after 5:30 pm. As such, the staff was rushed to attempt to clean rooms for other guests to check in. Our room was not ready until 6 pm.
