Absolutely beautiful hotel. The rooms are amazing, the staff care so much about your stay, and we spent the whole time wandering the street (lots to do, eat and drink). Perfect getaway spot!

I would have given it 5/5 but for some reason whenever we turned the heat on, it gave off a weird smell. But I would recommend this place with no hesitation.

This property is beautifully decorated from the entrance to the stair wells I love all of the small details in the rooms the makeup clothes and tiny bags of lavender.

It is a very nicely renovated building. Decorated tastefully. The bed was very conformable, lots of towels. Coffee machine, fridge , water, milk made it easy to make a morning coffee.

I loved the record player in the room. We started with only 2 records, Thriller and some disco record. We asked the front desk for more records and voila, there were a dozen new records in the room when we got back from dinner. Dance party!

The hotel is super clean probably the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in! This is coming from an experienced traveler, staff very friendly and helpful, decor is very modern and tasteful, however the rooms don't seem to be sound proof, we could hear the sound coming from the adjacent room like toilet flushing and water flowing not to mention sound coming from the corridor, but for me personally I could not sleep for 2 reasons, the pillows were extremely uncomfortable and our mattress was somewhat caved in I am just letting people who are picky about the firmness of their mattress and have certain pillow comfort requirements this hotel is not for You,

Such a beautiful property, spacious rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, luxurious towels and robes and a nespresso machine and kettle with real milk and creamers in fridge. All this property is missing a lobby bar. Perfect stay!!

Very disappointed with our stay and surprised that the issues we faced weren't apparent from other reviews. We did not get any restful sleep - the walls are paper thin and you can hear other guests in nearby rooms; any and every sound from the hallway seems like it's coming from inside the room because it's so loud, and the HVAC unit made a dripping sound that kept us up all night the first evening. The room was also remarkably small, so much so that it was a shock when we first entered - the room square footage should be listed on the hotel's website so guests can make an informed decision. We booked a classic suite with kitchen with the intention of cooking most of the weekend. But the kitchen is an arm's reach from the bed and there was no where to sit and eat, so it was very uncomfortable. On the plus side - the room and hotel was well decorated and very clean, and staff are friendly, but considering the cost, we expected a more comfortable stay - unfortunately it's style over substance and function here.

Front Desk was amazing at check in…went above and beyond to assist us including checking for an upgrade and allowing an hour later check out as we had a scheduled visit the next day. Room decor amazing, easy key pass system, great location. Looking forward to the coming restaurant! Stayed many places over the years in and around Collingwood, with this being our second time at the Dorchester. It’s our new favourite, will definitely be back.

The Dorchester is incredibly convenient to all the shopping and restaurants in Collingwood. It’s a stylish little hotel with great kitchenettes in each room. We’ll stay here again. My only minor suggestions to The Dorchester would be to add weather stripping around the doors so it doesn’t sound like people coming down the hall are right in your room and soft close toilet seats (in this day that should be a basic in a nice hotel).
