« The bach is a perfect spot for exploring Te Tauihu (the top of the South Island). Positioned on the beach at Pākawau, there is always a beach walk or birds to watch. The bach is a classic kiwi bach with sparkling new bathrooms and a small but perfectly functional kitchen. We loved opening the door to the lawn and beach and relaxing. It is a short drive up to Pūponga, the access point for Wharariki Beach and Cape Farewell. The Farewell Spit tour will pick you up from the road outside the bach...

« Die Bilder auf der Homepage sehen super einladend aus. Wir haben uns darauf gefreut, auf unserer Reise auch einmal etwas länger an einem schönen Ort zu verweilen. Als wir jedoch angekommen sind, haben wir ein Haus angetroffen, welches nicht mehr gepflegt wird. Mit Ausnahme der Küche und dem Bett, war es teils klebrig staubig und es hatte überall Spinnweben. Es schien auch, dass das Häuschen Monate nicht mehr bewohnt war. Offensichtlich hat man kurz vor unserer Ankunft die Küche oberflächlich...

« What an excellent welcome to NZ. Loved the space. Quiet. Big. Loved. Views of the beach were throughout. Sometimes has the entire beach to ourselves. So cozy w the yard and amenities. Would highly recommend. »

« The property is quirky with a fun eliment to it. There is a well stocked kitchen and plenty of other batch style books, games and DVDs. Not a property for elderly or people who struggle with stairs. Views are great and the grounds well kept. »
