Lying in bed watching the sunset over the hills was a highlight for me. Really enjoyed exploring the estuary and walking along the beach admiring all the other beach houses nestled in the bush. Met a few locals out walking who were very friendly and happy to chat. Collingwood is worth driving to for a meal - whilst not many options, the tavern does really good fish and chips and there was a great little food truck with a nice lady selling falafel salad bowls that were delicious. For good hikes in the area, Anna the lovely host suggested the Kaituna Track - walked to The Forks and back, absolutely stunning.
