"The cottage is well appointed; great if you use the kitchen, and ample supplies in the bathroom. The wifi is great and loved having a smart tv.Kate was super responsive, gave perfect directions and information. A couple of things that were questionable:There was a foul smell in the bathroom, like a sewer odor, and, although there were 2 bedrooms, the bathroom was en suite to one, so if you used the smaller bedroom (which has the larger bed) you have to walk through the other bedroom to get to the bathroom. The place is kind of dark as it is surrounded by woods and lighting is not bright. Very close to lots of sites, easy to get into Camden, Belfast, city and hiking."

"Very clean and cozy love the additional touch of appletv in the rooms so you can stream your own content. Pool and hot tub were nice but rarely used them since we were busy with day excursions. Daily breakfast was great but better to get there earlier since they tend to run out of things."

"The Lodge is a lovely property set on a hill in a residential condo community. There is a tennis court, and a pool. The pool had an algal bloom, while we were there, of which we were not advised, Otherwise, the communication with the owner was prompt and accurate. There were lots of toys, puzzles, games, and books. The wrap around porch was wonderful. Everyone had their own private bed/bath suite, which was fabulous. The kitchen is large with 2 dishwashers, and an extra large refrigerator. Lots of dishes, and silverware. Some of the kitchen pots and pans need to be replaced, but we were still able to cook many meals. There were many leftover condiments and other items from past guests. It would have been nice if they were labeled for freshness purposes; still appreciated.The trails at the property were not maintained, so we did most of our hiking at Camden Hills State Park. There is a lovely lake nearby for swimming or boating( canoes, kayaks).Took the ferry to Isleboro, and visited many small towns in area; Belfast, Rockland, Rockport, Camden, Fernalds Nature Preserve in worth a trip. It was great to be in a rural part of Maine. Lots to see and do, it just hang out.There were plenty of beach towels in the laundry room. Could have used extra towels, and toilet paper in the otherwise nicely appointed bedrooms. Room refrigerators were a nice touch. I made several suggestions to the owner to make this place a five star property. I recommend this property for large groups."

"House pics and description were as listing indicated. House was rustic but very clean and roomy with all the amenities you could need with some extra nice touches. Owner was very quick with responses to a few questions I had sent. Check in process was seamless and we very much enjoyed our stay."
