Hi Dimi, Thankyou for staying at Slice of Sawtell. I am so glad you loved the property and location and yes the couch has been a favourite from many other of our guests. In regards to a BBQ I am sorry that there was not one available, though we do not actually have ‘BBQ’ specified on our listing. We have portable BBQs that we are happy to supply our guests if needed, if you decide to stay at Slice of Sawtell again in the future we will be more than happy to provide one for you and your family. We pride ourselves on cleanliness, comfort and location which were all the things you loved and make for a great stay. We are actually quite competitively priced in Sawtell offering 2 bedroom accommodating 4 people. If you ever decide to return to Sawtell, please reach out as maybe a 1 bedroom apartment would be a more suitable price point for you and your husband. We always like to touch base with our guests during their stay to ensure they are delighted with the property. We would have been more than happen to address any issue that you may have had if this was noted at that time. Hi Judy, Thankyou for your feedback. By ‘unresolved’ issues you are obviously talking about the garage door that we notified you about and was fixed within days during your stay. When someone damages a garage door with their car on the day of your arrival, this is simply an accident and cannot be rectified immediately. We notified you before your arrival and also offered you an alternative parking area that was more than appropriate. Because the damage occurred on the day you arrived, we did not want to have to cancel your booking altogether causing a major inconvenience to you because of it. I would not describe our property at average due to an incident that was completely out of our control, did not affect your stay or comfort and was dealt with immediately, so no, not ‘unresolved’. I am glad you loved our facilities, loved our beds and loved the location because these are the essential aspects of a property that create more than an average accommodation, not a garage door. Hi Tess, Thankyou for your feedback. We always strive to accommodate our guests needs as best as possible. In saying this, we tried hard to accommodate your request for an early check in of 8am, this did create a bit of push for our cleaners to re-set the apartment in time for you. We always spot clean the rug but this may have been overlooked due to the limited time they had. As for the bedding, we have never had any complaints regarding the linen. This is a standard hotel linen set setup and is very much a personal preference if the quilt is too hot. As you would have seen, we provide a bottom sheet, quilt along with a top sheet for guests to choose for their comfort. In regards to the garage remote, after 3 years the battery was starting to run low, as soon as we received your notification we offered to replace the remote immediately to which you said was fine and not an issue as it was still working. We had the remote replaced immediately after your stay. The only washing that we ask of guests is the complimentary beach towels which we provide for guests in case they forget to bring their own. All other linen and bath towels are professionally cleaned. Kind Regards, Michelle
