Pier Hotel upgrade excellent. Rooms level has lovely polished timber floorboard and carpet runner, with many old location photos. Excellent location near Marina, Mutton Bird Island and beach walks. Food excellent. Staff friendly and excellent ... and all wear BLACK shirts with White " Pirr Hitel" logo ... go team !

The room was very clean. Tea making facilities were included and well stocked. The bathroom was immaculately clean. The staff were very pleasant & helpful. Overall a great option. Highly recommended

I enjoyed my stay but I arrived on a very hot night to a room with western aspect and no cross ventilation. The fan was helpful but I did struggle with the heat.

I discovered it was easy and inexpensive to catch a Train from Sydney go first class and walk to the hotel. In the room within 20 minutes after getting off the train. The Jetty area is beautiful and relaxing. Wonderful break

If our room had aircon it would be 5/5 Having ceiling fan was ok but noisy; it was a hot evening/ night so we could not sleep very well. Staff int bar/restaurant very very friendly polite and provided great service.

The property was easy to find and was in distance of everything. I had never been to Coffs Harbour before so knowing how to get to and from the hotel was a relief knowing we wouldn’t get lost. I also like the close proximity to the beach, we didn’t have far to walk.

Terrible noisy place, ridiculous to not have air conditioning in accommodation, can’t say it’s something I look for in a hotel as I’ve never been in a hotel without air conditioning, the ceiling fan didn’t work well and the windows didn’t even have flyscreens so your options are have them open and get eaten alive by bugs or be terribly hot all night. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in

Dissapointing to find out after the fact that the rooms were not air conditioned on one of the warmest, humid nights Ive experienced in a long time. In order to make sure I had a good night's sleep I changed hotels at my own expense.

Awesome place in a great location. The only minor issues were the bathroom frosted glass door that did not allow privacy and there was a big gap between the door and wall. I want to stay in here again.

The accommodation was good value and very clean. However the noise from the bar was exceptionally loud. Apparently there is music on Friday and Saturday. We would avoid staying again on these nights. It would have been good to have known about it.

Good sized room, quiet, but we did stay on a Sunday night . No air con, so I would think mid summer might be very hot. A very very small suggestion… no hand towel or face washer, would’ve been better than using our bath towel. But otherwise, great location, nice bed, good shower, great price.

Staf were excellent, very accommodating. They also provide a secure lockup for my motorcycle. Can't recommend highly enough.

Bub Band far too noisy!
Didn't realise the room I booked didn't have a bathroom, my mistake should have checked the fine print. Also, didn't expect a band to be playing downstairs in the bar. It was far to noisy for me, I checked out and moved to the motel across the road.

Pub and wine bar were popular hangouts for the locals. Staff were all friendly. Hotel convenient to train station and to beach.

Nice place to stay, great pub, excellent location.
Although the room had a ceiling fan, with the side window facing west, I feel the room would be very hot during the summer months, so maybe need to invest in a small air con unit.

Amazing service from the second I booked in.
For the second I rocked up. I received amazing service beyond above, and I certainly didn’t expect it. First start. I showed up on a motorbike and Katie. One of the supervisors offered to lock my motorbike away in a safe confinement area, so it wasn’t out in the car park or the streets, I was blown away as I didn’t expect this. From then, on the personal tour of the establishment, the room, and where the amenities were was above, and beyond such a friendly nice woman, and nice staff all around. I felt so welcome, I actually felt quite special . I will definitely stay here and only here every time I come to Coffs Harbour from now on .

Definitely not value for money
Very expensive for a very standard pub room. Room was clean, but that’s about the only good thing; difficult stairs for anything but fit and able bodied people. Bright as daylight in the room, all night! Noisy as a band playing, meals average but at least reasonably priced.

Nice Hotel with great location.
Great place to stay in a good location. Rooms were clean with nice ensuite bathrooms. Staff were friendly & a good selection of beers. Food was also good. Short walk to the beach. Some nice cafes just along from hotel where we had great breakfast.

My little single room was a surprise. Tv, coffee and tea making facilities, my own hand basin and within an easy walk of the station.

Great location easy walk close to boutique shops. Room immaculately clean, beds vey comfortable. The share bathrooms were clean and plenty of spare towels & soap etc, although they needed updating they were very quaint and spotlessly clean as well. Common areas were polished and clean and tidy furniture stylish, modern comfortable. Fridge kettle and tea/coffee/milk were also available. Excellent stay. Food was excellent I can recommend the duck rolls superb!
