This was a lovely place to stay - having a cabana right on the beach meant waking up to the sunrise with waves lapping the shore. The Bistro is exceptional. Dee and Marlin were super helpful in making sure all of our days tours were organized - making the most of our ten days! This accommodation is quite far away from the main village so you need to choose it if you are looking for somewhere away from the busy areas - we felt like we were totally able to decompress so it was perfect for us!

While it took quite some time and effort to get to this resort after landing in the airport it was a pleasant surprise once we got there. We were greeted with cold fruit punch and warm smiles after our long journey. No sooner had we walked in to reception had our luggage been discreetly taken to our rooms. Full delicious 3 course breakfast! The pool area was quite beautiful, the room amd grounds were just beautifully done. Very peaceful and full of life.

Amazing beach front, excellent amenities available. The spa and dockside massage was incredible. Beautiful grounds including infinity pool with a pool bar and early happy hour!! Recommend trying local restaurants, there are lots within short walking distance.

What a gem of a hotel. Being on site is like a little oasis of your own oasis. Beautiful pool, beach, dock and a great restaurant. If we come back will definitely be staying here.

Stayed 6 nights with two teens. The room was fantastic, beds comfy, breakfast AMAZING, hammocks on the beach, paddleboards, kayaks, pool - quiet and laid back but only a short 20 min. golf cart ride to Placencia. We will be back!

Placentia is a wonderful,quiet location. Hotel is beautiful. Staff fantastic. Food excellent. Beach is small amd contains grass which makes the water murky. Hot tubs broken. Rest of resort just perfect. Staff really out to meet your needs.

The room was great. Clean and lots of space. We enjoyed the beach, water was great and sunrises were beautiful!! The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. Val was amazing, great helping book us for tours, breakfast and makes THE best pina coladas!! She went above and beyond!

The staff are helpful and Chef Rob, is amazing chef, the food is delicious, the place quite far from the town but you can rent a golf cart or you can cycle. There’s a bicycle for the staff to use and Kayaks. The resort don’t serve lunch but lots of restaurants in the area. Beachfront hotel. We highly recommend the place and for sure we’ll be back to this Hotel

I LOVED my stay at bocawina - the best staff, very accommodating & friendly! This resort is a little piece of heaven in Belize - it is not a fancy 5 star resort instead an eco-luxury resort where you can fall asleep to the sounds of the rainforest, go for peaceful walks in nature, or intense hikes, live on the wild side & zipline or go waterfall rappelling or even do a night hike! If you love nature you will love bocawina! I cannot wait to go back!

The orange room was large and clean. I am not a great sleeper, but I slept well here as the beds were comfy and the room was quiet. The hosts were friendly and approachable. Downsides... they are not directly on the beach, but about a half block away.

We were treated great from the moment we arrived to the time we checked out. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with a great variety of plants, the entire site is raked to clean up fallen leaves almost daily. The rooms are well maintained and spotless, beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed the quiet beach, hammocks and pool a great deal.
