Quaint 2 bedroom, 1 bath, beachfront apartment unit, in a single story building, nestled on a sandy beach overlooking the turquoise Caribbean Sea. Come enjoy our wonderful swimming and snorkeling beach, the best of both worlds. Walk to town The middle unit, unit 2 at Crabtree Apartments is a quaint 2 bedroom, 1 bath, beachfront apartment unit, in a single story building (consisting of only 3 units) nestled on a sandy beach overlooking the turquoise Caribbean Sea. This unit has gorgeous views from almost every room and a wonderful covered beach side veranda where you can listen to the gentle lapping of the sea and view the beautiful sunsets. Come enjoy our wonderful swimming and snorkeling beach, we have the best of both worlds and we are walking distance to town and restaurants. Your private veranda is sure to be your favorite spot to relax. You will enjoy seeing the sea change from royal blue to turquoise as the sun rises higher in the sky, watching the sunsets over the horizon and gazing at the dazzling star splashed sky of the evening, all from your own comfortable sitting area on the veranda. Grand Turk is a charming 'Old World' Caribbean island with quaint colonial buildings lining the narrow walled streets. The local people are very friendly on this laid-back Caribbean island. This is a British governed island, the currency is the US dollar. Introduction: What do we offer or how do we differ from the other rentals on Grand Turk? We were the first vacation rental to begin renting on Grand Turk 11 years ago. We have along record with hundreds of satisfied guests. We also know that our guest feel comfortable in a homey space that is clean and relaxing. Our maid "Irsa" takes great pride in have the unit spic and span, clean and ready. We also know that our guests often travel a long way to get to Grand Turk, often arriving too late to grocery shop. We supply a few groceries in the unit ( like; water, milk, bread, butter, eggs, orange juice, coffee tea, sugar, salt and pepper) to start our guests off. This way our guests can begin relaxing right away, go for a dip in the gorgeous sea, enjoy a dinner out and have breakfast in the AM on the veranda. Being fresh the next morning to start exploring the island and to find the grocery. Many of our happy guests are Crabtree "fans" that return again and again. We are located in one of the best and most desirable neighborhoods on Grand Turk. Some of our guests have said we have one of the best beaches for swimming and snorkeling. Apartment Description: The middle unit has a fully equipped kitchen (even a few spices if you plan on cooking), 2 air-conditioned bedrooms, 1 bath with a large tile shower, dining/living room with wonderful views and opens to a large, private veranda. There are wonderful views from nearly every room in the unit and a gentle tropical breeze that constantly cools the apartment. Both the living room and one of the bedrooms open onto a large private beach front veranda where you can relax to the sound of the gently lapping waves. The second bedroom offers views of the Salina where you can watch the herons, plovers, pipers and other birds feeding. The veranda is sure to be your favorite place to relax, watch the boats go by and the osprey sail above the water. You might spy a humpback whale or catch a glimpse of the infamous "Green Flash". Come and visit us here in our little piece of paradise. We literally are on the edge of the beach with all the amenities of your own apartment right at your fingertips. We know you will love it and look forward to seeing you. About our location: Crabtree Apartments are located on a lovely sandy beach with town and restaurants a pleasant 10 minute stroll. We have what most other apartment rentals and house rentals on Grand Turk don't have - is the beach literally right outside your door and to be within walking distance to town and restaurants. (Not across the street or on the other side of the island.) You have access to everything with in your rental unit as well as a shared washer/dryer located in a shed beachside next to unit 3\. You also have access to 2 bicycles for your use located in the bike shed near the street. There is a wood trash collection receptacle located next to the street with the bike storage, just beyond unit 3. We have a manager on Grand Turk who can assist you should you need anything. I do not live there, but I am available by phone or email. Jessalyn Zaykoski About Grand Turk: Grand Turk is a small “Old World” Caribbean island. The island has maintained the charm of the colonial days due to the many antique colonial Bermudian buildings that line the walled streets. You’ll feel as though you stepped back in time as you venture out for an evening stroll. There are beautiful views from nearly every place you visit on the island. Many of the restaurants are seated on the edge of the beach, a romantic setting for a leisurely meal. The local people are friendly and welcoming. The Turks and Caicos are considered some of the safest in the Caribbean, they are British governed islands but the currency is the U.S. Dollar. Crabtree is located on the south-west shore of Grand Turk. Directly on a lovely sandy beach in a desired residential neighborhood an easy 10-15 minute walk from several restaurants. You can walk or bike to most places on the island. There are also taxi's, rental cars and rental golf carts. 5 night minimum Maid service available upon request for a fee. 12% additional government accommodation tax is included in the Airbnb price. 10% additional management fee for booking and credit card fees. Treat our house like your house. Many of our guest have claimed they feel at home, you will too! From the pre-trip communications, to the location, the amenities, the beach and the water, everything about this place was perfect. Despite the fact that you are one of three rentals, it always felt very private. We loved being able to step out the back door and enjoy the shaded patio with comfortable seating. This is a lovely 3 unit apartment building on a beautiful beach. The sand was a bit stirred up while we were there so we didn't get to snorkel much right out front. We went just down the road where conditions were better . The kitchen was well-equipped, soft sheets and plenty of extra towels and stuff. We had all we needed on our own for our 8 night stay. Absolutely loved the entire setup of our Crabtree cottage on Grand Turk. Privacy, our own beach and a laid back way of life appealed to our lifestyle. The donkeys and dogs (and a pet gecko) added a special touch to our stay. It’s apparent that the cottage was well cared for, with an excellent attention to detail to ensure guest comfort. The beach was spectacular. Excellent accommodations. It was amazing to have the whole beach area to ourselves. So grateful for having some food items to get us started. The beds were very comfortable. There were several ceiling fans to keep the air moving with the constant breeze. Making coffee was easy, pots and pans were plentiful and refrigerator was as expected. It was a really well decorated apartment. Really impressed with the seating available on the lanai looking out to the beach. We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to come back again. ##### Teri D. It is fabuous. The unit itself is clean, well equipped and tastefully deocrated. It has been very well maintained. The views speak for themselves (yes, it really is that stunning) and it is like having your own private beach. Do note that when you come to Grand Turk, you are coming for the beauty and not to be entertained. The restaurants are few but the 2 that I went to were very good. Our recent stay was nothing short of spectacular, offering a blend of comfort and convenience with a breathtaking beach. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the stunning ocean views that greeted us each morning. We were also greeted each morning by friendly donkeys looking for a carrot and cool drink. The location of Crabtree Apartment offers the opportunity to walk to restaurants and dive shops. However, we felt a golf cart better suited for our needs for getting around. What truly set Crabtree Apartment apart was the personalized attention we received. From helpful recommendations on activities to arranging transportation and excursions. Crabtree Apartment on Grand Turk was a delightful experience that exceeded all expectations. We hope to return one day soon. ##### Denise F. We appreciated all the informative communication prior to arrival, helping organize our taxi from the airport and the breakfast items in the fridge. It was exactly what we expected. Lovely quiet beach. I did yoga on the beach 2 mornings and only a couple walked by. Felt very private. We also got a giggle from the 3 donkey visitors and the very friendly dogs. We took the bikes out to explore. 2 of the other bikes needed fixing and when I let the manager know they were fixed right away. As my husband hurt his ankle prior to our trip, we decided to rent a golf cart. So glad we did. Great way of checking out the island and a fun way to go to the airport. We rented from Wesley and he was excellent with communicating and drop off/pick-up. Crabtree 2 is spacious and was very clean when we arrived and well maintained. The owners provided great suggestions, recommendations prior to our visit and inside the apartment in a book. We enjoyed location which was a short walk to restaurants. The bicycles provided are in good condition and we biked quite a bit including to grocery stores and Governor's Beach. The location is the best in Grand Turk as you can stroll down the beautiful practically empty beach towards various points in the direction of the port. We rarely ran into people during those serene beach walks. The water color is incredible. The downtown Museum is a must visit as is snorkeling or Scuba diving off the Great Wall. I fell in love with the pancake dogs who are very friendly. Grand Turk is a great get away from it all as there isn't alot of infrastructure. Our Internet connections and Verizon phone receipt of calls was lacking, but that was on the Verizon International Plan. We enjoyed our restful stay and if you are considering Grand Turk we highly recommend the Crabtree Apartments! ##### Beth B. Crabtree apartments is almost perfect. Bright, clean, beach decore. Books/ games/ TV. Basic breakfast supplies on arrival. Jessalyn was attentive by Whats App to questions/ concerns. Handy man + cleaner also. Laundry , bikes, beach chairs. Every thing as in ad. Location is quiet as can be (dogs ,donkeys, + roosters dont sleep at night lol). Island people very friendly, we felt safe. View is stunning. Basic snorkel off shore. Nice breeze when windows /doors open. Walking easy to a few rest. + stores. Be aware- hired man rakes outside at 4/ 5am. No supplies if you wish to clean during your stay. No see-ums can be terrible. Most rest. + stores only open when cruise ships are in. Rent a golf cart better than taxi (charges extra for stops). Since all supplies/ foods are shipped to the island prices can be very high. No recycling here!! Internet can be spotty. We loved exploring the island; Many types of birds. Flamingos (north end ). From shore sited whales 2x. Cruise ships (bogle my mind) are in Mon. to Thurs. Kittys pizza very good. Osprey good all meals + weekend BBQ but slow service. Secret garden good dinner. Best over all to eat at Turks Head. Snorkel + conch lunch with Exclusive Excapes excursion. Rented Kayaks (Jemal at dive shop across from Osprey) went from "home" to Johns Ocean View for beach beers + food then back. Drove cart to Light House, and down to Bobey point area. Best closest liqour store Grand Turk Liqours (Pond St.) across from gas station. Well worth doing the fresh fish market (most evenings at 2;30pm). Closest basic grocer Quality Mart.
