« We stayed here because of the proximity to the ferry, and for that, the location is really perfect. A short 3 miles to the terminal can’t be beat. The drive into Cedar Island is really amazing. And while the property is very spacious and has so many beds to offer to a group, it is not the Hilton, so be extra aware of that if bringing little ones with you. « Greatly enjoyed our stay here for a week in February. The house was home base for us as we visited the three nearby National Wildlife Refuges. House was very clean and stocked with all essentials. Clear communications with the host added to the positive experience. Was third winter we have visited Albemarle/Pamlico peninsula to view wildlife. When we return, we will definitely try and book this lodging again. »
