"This is a terrific house in a great area! Plenty of rooms and space and the backyard is gorgeous. Super comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and hosts were very nice and communicative. We were in the area for a wedding and this was the perfect spot for our extended family to be together, relax and enjoy this beautiful part of the Connecticut shore. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"Such a fun family getaway! We live in NYC, and this was the perfect distance for a relaxing escape. The location was incredible, just about 100 steps from the sand, with calm waters for the kids and plenty of space to enjoy the beach without the crowds.The house was immaculate, beautifully decorated with the cutest beachy touches, and stocked with everything we needed, including extra towels and pillows. And the ice machine was amazing. We used it every day, and now my husband insists we need one at home! We absolutely loved our stay!"

"The property was tidy. It was also a beautiful house. However, I will say if you have a family member who has trouble getting up and down stairs it may not be the property to rent. Since it is an older house, the steps are quite steep. We had no issue but I could see how it might be an issue if anyone handicap or elderly is staying there, which is why I mention it. The host was very responsive when I messaged her. Overall it was a nice property to stay at."

Communication was fabulous and I especially appreciate how flexible and accommodating John was when we left something behind. The home is a perfect blend of historical charm and modern conveniences (the kitchen, especially, had everything we needed!) It was a very easy walk into town, yet close enough to the highway. We hope to return soon."
