"Check in supposed to be 4pm and still trying to contact landlord at 4.30pm to gain access. Smoke detector off wall and sat on stairs, leaky radiator with a glass under to catch drips, damaged flooring. Dirty throughout. Not good."

"Very impressive amenities and so clean with a huge comfortable bed."

"Incredible location - right next to the sea, round the corner from the train station, Sainsburys, and town centre. There's a playground opposite for kids of all ages. Reasonable price which includes either a continental or full English breakfast. Lovely friendly staff. Warm throughout, including the bedroom. Comfortable beds and duvets. Only check in is a bit stressful because they send you the details a few hours before you arrive but it was no problem in the end. I would stay here again."

"Very clean and tidy property with a great host. Super quiet location but close to all the amenities you could need for a great trip. Local pubs are walkable or very short drive serving good food if you don't want to cook."

"Another great stay at Captain's Deck in Saltburn. We just love the view. A great addition to our last stay is the pool table. Enjoyed little family competitions with that! Wish we could have stayed longer."

"Lovely location, beautiful views, great host in Pete."

"Kein WLAN. Der Fernseher funktioniert nicht/ist nicht eingerichtet. Wirklich schade, denn das Studio-Apartment ist wunderschön. Ich habe SMS und E-Mail geschickt, aber niemand hat sich gemeldet. Ich überlege, ob ich meinen Aufenthalt abbrechen soll. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht."

"Very helpful, we were going to be later than anticipated arriving, phoned to let them know, they reassured us it was no problem, everything was ready for our stay. Check-in at the bar was easy, staff showed us to our studio, staff very cheerful. Food in the pub was great, not just pub grub. Only downside, studio was small."
