« This place is a fabulous bargain. Amazing price with a really good breakfast included. There’s no skimping in care, the room was faultlessly clean, and was spruced up each day of our stay. This particular room was a little small but with a big, comfy bed. Perfect for a base to sleep when going out during the day. Staff on site where hard working and helpful. We definitely will be back »

« Loved the mood of the place, middle of nowhere in the midst of some beautiful countryside. Gardens were top notch but weather sadly precluded their use. Staff were helpful and room spotless. Only slight downer is that the shower was scalding. Could not get cold water into the shower. Only there for 1 night so not a big deal. Parking easy and EV charger useful. Breakfast was tasty and well presented. Much to like about the Manor. 👍Recommended. »

« If you want luxury go elsewhere BUT if you are happy with basic bed and board this was ok. It is above a pub so be mindful of that if you want early quiet nights. The room was clean and sufficient. The shower was good, but dated but it worked well. There is parking. »

« The site did not indicate sign in was 3 to 6. Also, Google showed a pub AND a B&B. We arrived at 8 pm. to a locked door. Arrival was swift after a phone call but is not guaranteed. After that, the room was spotless, lots of extra touches. The lady at breakfast was lovely, and you choose it at sign in with numerous extras available. »

« Main issues were a) the "bistro" and bar area looked nothing like the pictures on the website. Most of the dining tables had been replaced by a pool table and dart boards. Broken or unused furniture was piled up at the side of the room. After taking one look, we decided that eating here was not an option. Similar unwanted furniture etc was piled up on the stairs to the second floor. All in all, there is no way this could be described as a tidy place b) our room was immemdiately above the bar....

« Our room, Croft was a small suite. Very clean with ensuite and small fridge. Ideal. Breakfast was very tasty. We did not have an evening meal there. »

« Friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. Comfortable rooms with good ensuite facilities at a great price. Restaurant has excellent dishes at good prices and the bar serves a good range of drinks again at good prices. A Continental Breakfast is included and there is no cooked breakfast option. The only drawback is the lack of a lift and one or two floors are a bit unveven but to be expected at over 400 years old. »

« The full cooked breakfast was amazing, i couldn't fault it, single room was small but clean and comfy. very friendly owners , and 2 lovely dogs who came to greet me. Overall i enjoyed my stay, and if im ever back in the area i would definately stay again. »

« The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were helpful. Parking was in front of the hotel, off the main street. The village had a few shops and a large town nearby. The hotel has a river at the bottom of the grounds which was lovely to sit near. »
