Our room was generally clean. The toilet was badly stained. The bathroom lighting above the sink & mirror did not work. The TV worked electrically but no programming was available. The electric heat pump did not work so we had no heat and the room was cool. We managed with extra blankets on our bed at night. I informed management but it was not fixed during our one night stay. We enjoyed the free breakfast. The price & quality of the evening dinner was good.

It was a basic room with no real amenities- except breakfast - which was fine for what we needed. It was strange to not have a lobby with a staff member in it. But it was clean and comfortable.

The place /facilities was misrepresented in your Expedia App , the place looks abandoned , no singage scary we've been going back and forth looking for the reception area , on the address the hotel name is Sunset bay to finally we found we have to check in at Mercure hotel across Baia hotel and walk 500 ft towing our luggages at 2 pm on gravel , the only positive comment is that the AC was working .

This property does not have a front desk on site. Building/property feels and looks abandoned! Felt very unsafe. Not sure why they are renting rooms here! Expedia should send someone to see this place! Breakfast is a bad joke!

The property have area for a nice area for walking, a beautiful ocean view, a coozy dinner. The facility needs to improve better cleaning, the srea has a clay tennis court and there was a lot dust in the outside.

Let me say our room was clean and the AC worked. But…the in room phone and the safe didn’t. There was no fridge, and no glasses. The room door scrapped along the floor. At the main building, the terrace restaurant was beautiful looking out over the sea. Food was delicious, but twice they put dishes in front of me I didn’t order. Then brought our two orders and put them down opposite to who ordered them. The Hotel Manager was unfriendly and butt’s in when my wife was dealing with the desk clerk, no “excuse me” or apology. The pool cost €10 per person, not mentioned in Expedia, and wasn’t very clean, with garbage, spent water balloons and cigarette butts strewn about. They don’t supply towels unless you brought bath towels from your room, which my wife went back to retrieve, as that was never mentioned. Where we stayed was on an adjacent property, not where you check in, so a fair walk to partake in a disappointing breakfast, as well. The Bar is two couches and two arm chairs with no AC and no ceiling fans. I rated this property as Poor, which was only saved by the clean room, AC and delicious dinner on a beautiful terrace. Overall…👎.

Don't stay at the Mercure Sunbay Park hotel!
The reception put me into the Mercure Sunbay Park hotel instead of the Baia del Sole (apparently they are owned by the same organization). The room at the Mercure was very run down. There was no chair in the room to sit on - if you wanted to sit you had only the bed. There was no television reception on any channel. The water pressure in the shower was minimal - hardly enough for a shower. The telephone was not connected and even as I reported it to the front desk it was not fixed. All in all it was a very bad stay.

We needed a hotel for the night from getting off a cruise in civitavecchia. We range the Hotel to arrange a taxi from port who said we can just get one from the port. This was not the case taxi drivers would only go to Rome airport. We got a shuttle to outside the port and still no one would take us. We rang the hotel but they hung up on us. Very poor customer service. When we did get there via a tuc tuc an hour after asking everyone and my young children crying in the heat! The reception was closed and looked derelict! We eventually found a notice in one of the windows saying checkin at the mercury hotel which was next door. We had to lug our luggage over there to then go back as was staying in the hotel which had no reception! Would not come back to civitaveecchia if you paid me. Taxi drivers out to rob you

The Hotel has no reception, once you are there you dont know where to ask, and then you see a paper that says they are in another hotel across the property to make check inn abd check out.

This is not a hotel; it’s a apartment building located far from the check-in desk and extremely inconvenient for lugging suitcases. The building is very loud and if you plan to sleep bring ear plugs. The food available is minimal and not very tasty. If you are thinking about staying here because you are sailing from the Port, stay in Rome and travel to port directly. You are still a 20 euro ride to the port and there is no market or restaurant close to this place.

The place and staff were great but after a long trip I just wanted to get in and rest. The place was a hotel but I needed too call and get instructions on how to get in. Not convenient. Overall, it was good.

Decadimento evidente
Hotel in palese stato di decadimento. Unici pro letto comodo e spazio in camera. Per il resto sporco e trasandato. Senza tende, con aspiratore del bagno che emetteva suono allucinante e reception molto distante dalla struttura.

Camera spaziosa con un terrazzo vista mare. Aria condizionata regolabile. Buona la colazione servita nella struttura principale. Sono stato più volte in questo hotel e ci torno sempre volentieri.

Un poco de respeto hacia el cliente!!!
Tener cuidado al elegir las plazas ( porque segun ellos hay familias que duermen 4 en una cama doble, perdón??? Eso esta permitido) nosotros eramos 4, al llegar al hotel sorpresa teniamos "pagado" una habitacion con cama doble y eran 4 noches a 20 eur por noche y cama supleatoria. Su respuesta ( fue un error del sistema) Y yo que culpa tengo, minimo a ver avisado antes, ya que yo habia pagado hacia 5 meses atras!!!, solo una cama doble jajaja de risa a pagar 20 eur por cama y por noche. Tened cuidado con eso. Creo segun lei en los comentarios que lo suelen hacer, en este hotel. Por lo demas todo pasable.

Bonjour tt d’abord je suis complètement abasourdi encore qu’un hôtel de se type soit en ligne sur votre site.Je vous relève tout ce que ne va pas 1 L’accueil glacial de la réception 2 reservation d’une chambre 3 lit ont me qu’il y’en a plus et que je doit être content de trouver une chambre avec un lit double et un lit jumeaux 3 le chauffage ne fonctionne pas nous avons dormi avec nos vêtements 4 La literie est complètement inconfortable 5 le frigo pas nettoyer avec reste du client de la veille 6 Pas de couverture dans les placards et j’en passe Le pire hôtel de ma vie croyant me fier au site eh la preuve que je vais demander le remboursement total de cette nuit horrible et bien évidement faire part de mes commentaire sur les plateformes dédié
