To be honest I had not heard before of the "Citadines" properties, and my expectations for the stay were low ... How wrong was that! Check-in was very smooth and efficient, despite the usual paperwork required for foreigner- registration in Chinese hotels. The room was on a high floor with clean windows so that I enjoy the view, and the furnishings modern and comfortable. For just a 2 night stay I did not use any of the kitchen facilities, but it was nevertheless well equipped and I could easily imagine using this place for a longer stay if ever needed. Wifi was fast and east to connect to. Breakfast on the 6th floor was also a pleasant surprise - good coffee, cooked to order egg station, good selection of both western and Chinese food items, and friendly helpful staff.
