Citadel of Lille Tours and Activities

This is a very well located hotel in central Arras. But you're paying mainly for its location which makes it highly walkable to nearby city centre attractions. The hotel however is dated, with some charm therein but too much thereafter is second rate. Entry to our room was tight with a door which banged into the separate toilet door. The shower and wash basin was probably from the 1970's despite its claim to a more recent renovation. The shower was adequate but early morning it ran hot and cold as I suspect others were also showering. A curtain over the cubicle was simply inadequate considering our around £5 more expensive hotel in central Dijon had a beautiful bathroom and tea and coffee facilities. Sorry but I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Staff were lovely however.

The hotel is not bad. However the room we were given had a tub/shower combo that made it unusable for my husband with limited mobility. In addition to a very high entrance to get in there was no bar to grab on to. He avoided the shower because of this. No water bottle in the room, no small fridge. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The hotel is modern and well designed. The bar area and restaurant are comfortable environments. The staff are friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfasts.
