Thanksgiving

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunshine Palace. We were in town to celebrate thanksgiving with family and friends. This house was perfectly suited to cook and enjoy our feast. The kids loved the game room!!! Nay was very attentive and super sweet. I would definitely stay here again.

Kings island trip

We stay at the Sunshine palace for a trip to kings island with our grand kids. It worked out just great. The house was roomy, with a play area in the basement for the kids. I would recommend more wash cloths and facial tissues, but otherwise, it was great!

Sunshine Stay

House bright and welcoming. Kitchen was minimally stocked with basic cookware and dinnerware. Beds are low to floor...difficult for mobility challenged individuals (one of our family members).No extra blankets. Adequate for a 2-night stay.

Excellent stay

This sunshine place was the perfect place for my family to gather and spend a few days together. Great location to fun activities for kids. Also, the fun continued in the basement of this place, where the game room was a great hit. The property administrator, Nay was very easy to reach and prompt to respond. The floors were squeaky and the outside needed some attention. But don't let that distract your attention from the beautiful inside. Very clean and spacious, the sunshine place is the perfect place for family with kids.

We had a fantastic stay at this Vrbo property during our kids’ basketball tournament and shared the home with another family. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was spotless, warm, and welcoming—exactly what we needed after long days at the gym.The beds were incredibly comfortable, and there was plenty of space for both families to relax and enjoy some downtime. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and it was clear the home is well cared for.What truly made our stay exceptional was the host, Nay. She was incredibly attentive, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and quickly responding to any questions. Her communication was prompt, friendly, and reassuring—she really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was smooth and stress-free.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-managed home away from home!

Nice location, needs improvements

This house is in a very nice location as far as being a quiet neighborhood. The house was pretty clean. There are things that need to be fixed though. At least one of the windows in the house does not lock. The front door deadbolt barely latches. There are knives in the very lowest kitchen drawer which isn’t safe for kiddos. There was also cleaning chemicals, including drano, in the bottom of an open and unlocked closet in the kitchen. The game room/garage floor was pretty dirty and there were exposed wires down there so we weren’t comfortable letting our kids play down there. This was disappointing because we were planning on using the game room for all of us. Overalls for us this home was not worth the cost.

Decent

We had a decent stay overall. Check-in was smooth and the host was a great communicator and friendly. The location is very convenient to Kings Island, and the neighborhood felt safe. The house was relatively clean, with nice touches like toiletries and plastic cups for kids.That said, there were several issues that could be improved. We encountered bugs inside (including a large centipede and several spiders), and there were fire ants all over the lawn chairs outside. Some areas were missing light bulbs, making spaces like the laundry room and game room dark, and the mini basketball game was broken. The bedding was minimal, with only thin blankets on each bed, and the WiFi was spotty. Also, one bathroom sink was clogged and didn't clear even after using drain cleaner. A little more thorough cleaning would have been appreciated as there were a couple long black hairs on one of the beds. With a few updates and more attention to maintenance, this could be a much more comfortable rental.
