I didn’t avail of breakfast but after dinner in the hotel’s restaurant on my first night in Sopot I decided I wasn’t eating anywhere else for my remaining two nights. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the staff who served me each night were so friendly yet very professional. A special mention to Konrad on the front desk who welcomed me on arrival and was very informative, warm and friendly. I chose the Rezydent as it was the nicest 5 star hotel in the Gdansk area on Expedia and as a solo traveller I like luxurious accommodation to return to after days exploring. The train station is a 2 minute walk from the hotel and Sopot is in the middle of the tricity - Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia. Gdansk is 19 min by train in one direction and Gdynia is 9 minutes in the other direction. Sopot proved to be the perfect base to explore all three places and it was a beautiful location to return to after my day trips to Gdansk and Gdynia. I highly recommend the Rezydent hotel and Sopot as a base for exploring this area. "

"The staff at the front desk and the cleaning staff are courteous and very responsive to your needs. Hotel is clean and well-maintained. The availability of a nice restaurant for the dinner and the breakfast buffet offered on site is a big plus especially after the season when many gastronomy businesses around are dormant. A small Saint Nicolaus gift which I found in the morning at the doorsteps of my room was a pleasant surprise. "
