The experience was perfect, and the host was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! Unfortunately, the sargassum came in earlier than expected so we were unable to use the private beach to swim but still able to sit outside and enjoy the island breeze. There were plenty of other beaches in close proximity to enjoy and we thoroughly encourage others to make sure they do a trip to Buck Island. My daughter and I snorkeled the barrier reef and it was unbelievable!! The breeze off the ocean is so calming with a nice breeze. Beautiful location if you prefer to be out of the hustle and bustle and in a more scenic area of the island. The small casino is directly across the street but it has minimal traffic and we never heard any noise from the casino.
